Yes Vehicular emission is kept under control by

proper maintenance and by regular monitoring of fuel and oil consumption. Every effort is being/

suitable mitigating measures. Water sprinkling on

haul roads and at loading faces is being /will be

Proper maintenance of HEMMs will help reduce such emissions. The fugitive emission on haul

road is suppressed by water spray.

Yes Dust is generated during excavation and loading/unloading. Dust suppression is done by

sprinkling of water.

Yes Noise is generated due to mining activities during excavation, loading & transportation. Proper noise

abatement measures will be taken to keep noise level within the prescribed limit by CPCB.

Proper selection of machines and their maintenance leads to less noise generation.

Yes There will be some noise due to movement of trucks/dumpers/excavator. Operation of

machinery will generate the noise. It is an intermittent/slow process. AC cabins have been

provided in all the equipment with very less noise inside the cabin.

is controlled by using collection tray etc. Care is

taken during its use for lubrication of equipment,

Impact referred above is localized, transitory and

the haulage roads will be suppressed by water

spray.

No Residential facilities provided to the staff in township within captive cement plant. There will

is treated in township STP. Local people are

raising the socio-economic status and standard of

And no adverse effect on environment and supporting infrastructure is envisaged as the

project is an established one with its own arrangements. Therefore there will be no negative

impact on existing infrastructure of surrounding community.

development of water reservoir supporting the

11015/390/2008-IA.II ((M) dated 22nd February, 2011 & letter dated 22nd August, 2014, and

change in name of project proponent to M/s. UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Unit: Sewagram Cement

Works).

A. Specific Conditions

(xx):- “No Transportation of ore outside the mine lease area shall be carried out

after sunset.”

The company wishes to propose transportation of ore after sunset hours from the Mining lease

area 2831.61 ha.

All the other Environmental Safeguards/ the terms and conditions as stipulated in the

Environmental Clearance will be complied with by UTCL. Therefore, no Terms of Reference are

proposed.
