• Greg has a failed attempt of climbing the mountain and nearly dies but he is rescued by people living in a rural village in the middle of no where and is nursed back to heath

• He learns from the people taking care of him and realizes the minimum school supplies and resources they have

• Greg’s outlook on life is suddenly changed and he realizes what is truly important

• He promises to build them a school

Climax• Greg is having troubles building his first school

for the people in Korphe because he can’t raise enough money

• He begins to feel hopeless because all the haters bring him down

Falling Action• The Central Asia institute is developed• Greg gets over his main obstacles and finds

himself on a successful path

Resolution• After building the first School, Greg continues

to build schools all over Pakistan and Afghanistan

• Children in these countries (especially girls) are denied of their human rights

• There is a lack of educated people in these countries because so many children grow up without a school to go to

• The first two girls to be educated in the area Greg built his first schools were: The granddaughter of the village chief and the daughter of the first school’s headmaster

• Greg is known as “Dr. Greg” in the Middle East for the basic healthcare he provides when he has time, even though he is not a doctor.

• Greg slept in his car for months and months while he fundraised. He didn’t even own a bed when he married.
