PAM’S PONDERINGS.

Today I simply share with you a few words which can console, be helpful in times of trouble or just give pleasure. He whose hand is clasped in friendship cannot throw mud (anon) A friend is one to whom one can pour out all the contents of ones

heart, chaff and grain together knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away. (Anon).

Dear friends let us love one another for love comes from God. Since God so loved us we also ought to love one another(1John 4:7a, 11)

Love must grow. It can't stand still, it certainly cannot go backwards. Love must flourish or else it withers and dies. (Joni Eareckson Tara)

The people of God who bind themselves in love are strikingly beautiful. And the world cannot help, but be attracted to it. (Joni Eareckson Tara)

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)

Do everything in love(1 Corinthians 16:4)

‘STAND FIRM’ OT: Isaiah 65:17-25 (p748)

NT: 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 (p1191) Gospel: Luke 21:5-19 (p1055)
