Annexure- I

Maintenance of computer relat ed Hardware

The detai ls of the equipment in CBSE, Delhi are given in Annexure- IV. The f i rm shallprovide unscheduled, on- cal l correct ive remedial maintenance servi ce f rom 9.30 AM to6.00 PM f rom Monday to Saturday to keep the machines i n good working order. Theservice consists of prevent ive and correct ive maintenance and includes carrying out of the necessary repair s and f i t t ings of replacement part s and to ensure net connect ivityin the computer system.

Terms and condi t ions

a) Quote the separat e rat es f or deployment of f ul l t ime qualif i ed Computer personnel f or corrective and remedial maintenance service f rom 09.30 hrs. to 18.00 hrs. (Monday to Saturday)

b) The computer personnel should have at least 2 years of experience in a si milar capaci ty.

c) The computer personnel should be able to layout new LAN wires when required.

d) LAN t roubleshoot ing skil ls are also required.

e) Quote the separate rates f or Comprehensi ve maintenance include replacement of unserviceable parts.

f ) Thi s contract i s comprehensi ve in nature and wil l cover replacement of all def ect ivepart s/ equipments such as motherboards, hard disks, picture t ubes, DVD dri ves/ wri t ers, andkeyboards, printers mechanical parts i ncluding print heads t i l l t hey are repairableexcluding st ati onery, r ibbons, f loppies and cart ridge- tapes.

g) Complaints shal l be at tended on the same day. Replacement and/ or repair of the hardware equipment shal l be carr i ed out wi thin 24 hours of regist ering the complaint s. I t i s thewhole & sole responsi bi l i ty of the f i rm to repair s/ replacement of equipment & stand- bycomputer or printer f ail ing which a penalt y of 2- 5 % shall be imposed on the quart erlypayment to the f i rm.

h) The f i rm agrees to maintain the equipments specif ied in thi s Agreement in accordancewith terms and condi t ions mentioned above.

i ) In case of unsat isf actory services, the Di rector (Training) CBSE shall t erminate t hecontract at any t ime duri ng the prescr ibed period of maintenance wi thout ass igning anyreason.

j ) The agencies, i f they desire, may inspect the machines bef ore quoti ng the rat es.

k) The rat es should be quoted wi thout Taxes and Taxes should be quoted extra.

l ) Turn over f or AMC/ work/ sale of computers and i t s peri pherals f or last two years shallbe at l east Rs. 1,00,000/ - per year.

m) The f i rm/ company having ISO cert i f i cate or Equivalent wi l l be pref erred.

n) Only t hat f i rm/ company may apply who have at least 02 years experi ence i n AMC of computers and i t s peripheral s i n Gover nment Department PSU/ Lt d. Companies. The Work Orders of those Dept t . should be at t ached where the f i rm/ company, is holding AMC of computer s and is peripherals.

Annexure- 1contd.

o) The f i rm/ company should have experi ence as Authorized Service Provide f or HP/HCL /LENOVO/ Compaq/ Acer/ Del l / Mac Apple f or 2010- 2012.

p) The f i rm/ company shall have to clean all the PCs inst all ed in the Academic Bui lding, Delhi quart erly through blower.

q) The f i rm/ company shall have to recover the Data, i f missed f rom any of the computers. The f i rm/ company shall have to t ake seri ous concern whi le backup & rest orati on of data whi le providing a new computer or a st and- by computer. Also whi le t aking back up on the st and- by computer, t he f i rm Engineers have to ensure proper movement of Data wi thout loss.

r) The Di rector (Training), CBSE reserves the right to accept or rej ect any or all thetender without assigning any reason.

s) The contract wi l l be f or one year but may be extended up to 3 years on sole discret ionof the Board and work sati sf action. The payment of maintenance charges wi l l be payableby the Board af t er execut ing of agreement on a non- J udicial st amp paper of Rs. 100/-and si gned by both the part ies. In case the f i rm / company does not provide sati sf actory servi ces, t he Di rector (Training), can terminate the AMC at any t ime and no payment shal lbe payable f or t he period of unsati sf actory service and the f i rm wi l l have to ref undthe amount of AMC to the Board. Besides the amount of EMD/ perf ormance guarantee wi l lalso be f orf eit ed by the Board.

t ) The J uri sdicti on in legal matt er wi l l be Delhi / New Delhi .

u) A perf ormance guarantee deposi t of Rupees f i f ty thousand has t o be deposi ted with the Boards on receipt of work orders . Deduct ion on unsat isf actory perf ormance, loses wi l lbe made f romthis deposi t which wil l st and f orf eit ed in case of wi thdrawal of cont ractby t he f i rm. Fresh perf ormance guarantee deposi t wil l be payable in exhaust ion of original deposi t .
