Ration Distribution

Supported families, migrants and labourers with ration kits: -15,520 families - 80,000 lives in cities over 15 days of lockdown

Livelihood Opportunities

- 6,14,072 face masks made and sold by women

- 505 women in Sankrail and Punjab started kitchen gardening and selling vegetables in local markets - 821 SHGs received COVID-19 Sahay Loan of Rs. 4.38 Cr - A Livelihood Fund was also created

Oxygen and Support to Medical Centres Oxygen Plant • Ambuja Cement has set up 1 oxygen plant at Ambuja Hospital, Ambujanagar, Gujarat and a few more

are in process

Oxygen Concentrators and Cylinders • 192 Oxygen Concentrators have been provided till date to various COVID-19 centres, hospitals and

isolation centres • 125 Oxygen Cylinders provided Medical Equipment/PPE Kits provided to medical institutions • 5 Ventilators • 11,360 Triple Layered Masks • 100 Thermal Scanners • 7 Stretchers • 24 Vaccine Carrier Boxes • 100 PPE Kits • Other equipment like Nebulizers, Oximeters, Regulators, Thermometers, Testing Kits and Tablets were

also provided to centres Drinking water systems were also provided to centres.

COVID-19 vaccinations in villages

Vaccination awareness was initiated in villages with 73 IEC materials, 8 videos and 23 new images distributed to all SPOCS & community members from January onwards. This included vaccination awareness with scientific information to address anxiety and myths based on govt. guidelines.

ACFs approach in vaccination- • ACF conducted an awareness & input session for all ACF health workers and employees • Focused on BCC awareness before vaccination and followed up post vaccination • Awareness campaign on vaccination across villages with announcements through ACF ambulances and E-Rickshaws • Networking and awareness with PRI members • Setting up: Registration Desk, Building Pavilions, Drinking Water Stations, Seating Areas at the centres • Company buses and vehicles were provided to ply beneficiaries to the centres Reach • 4.9 lakh people vaccinated in ACF villages (Cumulative) • 73% ACF staff vaccination from all locations • Vaccination camps were also organized for staff in the ACL Campus • In Phase 3, 18 – 44 years beneficiaries also being addressed

ACF has been assisting beneficiaries and the local government administration during the vaccination drive since January 2021.

COVID-19 Safe Home - Farakka

Isolation Centre (Safe Home) set up in collaboration with Block Development and Medical Team.

• ACF set up a Safe Home of 30 Beds • 5 Oxygen cylinders procured and installed • All infrastructure provided: Fans, Sanitizers, Surgical Masks were provided to health

staff and patients • 23 Patients were admitted to this Isolation Centre

Components of the Safe Home • Only asymptomatic and mild symptomatic patients allowed • Safe Home connected to the nearest Block Hospital • Clinical Parameters like temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, breathing rate

monitored by the Public Health Functionaries • Linkage with the dedicated COVID-19 hospital for critical patient. • 24x7 Ambulance available connected to the centre

Mask making initiative with Cipla Foundation - Nalagarh

• A tripartite agreement was signed with ACF, Cipla Foundation (CF) and IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology) for designing of masks, sharing and capacity building of rural women.

• Capital support by ACF was provided for initial 20,000 masks production.

• 10 women from Handur SHG – Nalagarh were involved; SHG PAN & GST for business expansion received

• Capacity building completed and mask production is in progress

• IICT approves the samples after quality check

• More than 20,365 masks already sold out of 21,500 masks produced

• 89 responses received Pan India through online orders • 38,767 mask orders received from ACF, ACL & external

agencies.
