You will design a book cover for your classroom unit. Make sure to include the following:

Front Cover: Total 35 pts

Title (5pts)

Author (5pts)

Your Name (5pts)

Creative Illustration – I want to see more color than white space. (20pts.)

Inside Front Cover: Total 30 pts

A Brief Description of 3 main Characters. Tell me who they are and why they are important to the story. You need to write 3-4 sentences about each character. (30 pts)

Inside Back Cover: Total 5pts

Author Name and 3-5 sentences about them. (5pts)

(Example: Where they are from, their interest or hobbies, awards won, or other books.)

Back Cover: Total 30 pts

Title (5pts)

Author (5pts)

Synopsis of Book (a look at what the reader will read about. Needs to catch their attention and make them want to read more, but not give away all the good parts. (20 pts)

Project Total: 100 points!
