on the previous site. I hand-

coded a template, then created

a custom Wordpress theme.

Using Wordpress as a CMS

will allow NWHA officers

to post news updates and

edit site content much more

quickly and easily.

Nut Company. I enjoyed

playing with some unique,

designer and event planner.

As designer, I revamped all

a fresher, brighter look. As

event planner, I strove for clear

show horses has a logotype

of its name, used in win

advertisements placed in

Tennessee Walking Horse

publications. My design for

Marino, named after the

former Miami Dolphins’

quarterback, was a parody of

that team’s logo.

Walking Horse Owners Association (WHOA) Murfreesboro, TN

I completed a redesign of

the existing WHOA W,

reorganizing information and

utilizing plugins to build an

online membership system. As

part of the project, I trained

the WHOA secretary in the

basics of using the Wordpress

system and created a step-

by-step guide for her to

follow when processing new

memberships and renewals.

of SealMaster pavement

products and equipment, to be

used in the yearly catalog and

other promotional materials.

Apparel Design

Pine Rock Farm Kittrell, NC

The owner of Pine Rock Farm

wanted his 2012 horse show

series tee to parody the classic

Jack Daniels whisky bottle

style. The challenge with this

design was to find typefaces

that mirrored the original as

closely as possible.

Logo Design

Camden Baptist Church Wellington, Ohio

I grew up in a very close-knit

church family and wanted

to reflect a warm, home-like

feeling. I chose soft colors

and based the icon on a quilt

square.

Poster Campaign Graphics

CauseLife Forest, VA

CauseLife, a faith-based

organization affiliated with

World Help, digs safe wells

in areas with contaminated

water. These posters were

created to raise awareness of

the one billion people who lack

access to clean water.

In contrast to most of the dark,

grungy poverty-awareness

posters we have grown so

accustomed to, I created

a more bold, eye-catching

look to grab the attention of

passers-by.

I created these bright, patriotic

graphics to advertise the

Red White & Cruise event,

held at the Lorain County

Fairgrounds. This summer

event centered around a car

show but included a singing

competition, poker run,

concert, and more.

The Lorain County Fair is

considered one of the best

fairs in the state of Ohio. For

one week every August, my

small hometown is crowded

with fairgoers young and old.
