am Language Studio offers courses in the English language at 6 levels; Beginner (A1), Elementary (A1 - A2), Pre-intermediate (A2 - B1), Intermediate (B1),

Upper-intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1).

Bookings should be made well in advance. Prices are per person per week unless otherwise indicated. Courses start every Monday. Sessions are of 45 minutes

duration. All courses include use of audio and other teaching aids. Certificates of attendance are issued at the end of the course.

Placement test is to be completed and sent to school prior to arrival. Failure to return the test will mean completing the test on your first day at school resulting in

the possible loss of your first 4 lessons at your own expense. No refund will be offered by am Language Studio.

All beginners must verify course dates for availability as soon as your level is known.

In the event that only one student applies for a particular course then am Language Studio will apply the Reduced Hours Procedure as indicated in

General English

The most popular course at am Language Studio is designed to give students a solid introduction to the English language and devotes special attention to grammar, vocabulary building, conversation

and pronunciation. While conventional texts and audio equipment form the basis of the lesson structure, teachers encourage language use through role-play, problem solving, discussions and story

telling. The group element allows participants to benefit from trying out and practising language structures on their fellow students.

Intensive English

By devoting more hours to tuition students can give their English a kick-start in a relatively short period of time. Students follow the General English Course and have a further 2 sessions per day of 45

minutes each. They are given the opportunity to consolidate their General English studies and have further options to cover new ground.

With this course, students benefit from group classes in the General English Course and individual lessons when they have the teacher’s undivided attention to focus on their specific needs and

Individual English

Individual lessons offer students the opportunity to make their learning more focused and pertinent to their needs. With 1 to 1 lessons students have the full and continuous attention of the teacher and

the time to practise and go over areas of their choice, thus speeding up the learning process. The Individual Course is fairly flexible in that students can choose the number and duration of sessions

according to their own preferences.

Our Long Stay Courses offer students the opportunity to practise and develop their English language more thoroughly over an extensive period

of time, focusing on fluency, grammar, vocabulary, conversation and pronunciation. Using modern course books and a wide range of our

resource materials, they can expect to participate in pair and group work and take on an active role in the classroom. While conventional texts

and audio equipment form the basis of the lesson structure, teachers encourage language use through role-play, problem solving, discussions

and story telling.

The courses are designed to help students improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, increase their English vocabulary and

give them more confidence with the English language. They put the knowledge they gain in class to everyday use and make steady progress

through each level.

Students can follow either the General English Course or the Intensive English Course. They are offered at all levels and in periods of 8, 12, 24

and 36 weeks. The longer the course the better the prospects of becoming fluent in the English language!
