  • Hello!

Community Ed & Rec and the Oregon Pool staff are grateful to be a part of the Oregon School District

Community. The last few months have been long and challenging for all of us. With these challenges, it

also created opportunities. The pandemic has helped us to learn the importance of patience as well as

the importance of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. We have embraced the opportunity to continue

to offer lifelong learning opportunities and fitness & wellness classes in the new world of online live

    classes.

In April, we created our first ever spring & summer activity guide filled with live online classes, a

Quarantine 50K fitness challenge (we hope to never need to offer this one again :), welcomed actors from

American Players Theatre who taught us about theatre and acting right in our homes and began offering

lap swim and water exercise following Forward Dane guidelines.

We are glad to be able to offer you new and exciting opportunities this fall. Because your health and

safety are important to us, we have made a few changes this season:

~ Most of our classes will be virtual this fall.

~ As soon as we can safely offer face to face classes, we will. For your safety, we will follow the enhanced

safety protocols from Public Health Madison Dane County.

~ The pool is open, all swim times are now on a reservation only base. See

www.oregonsd.org/pool for more information on the safety protocols at the pool.

In challenging times, we know that coming together as a community is more important than ever! We

hope you and your family choose to join us this fall for one or more of our classes or activities!

We are proud to serve you!

Your CE & Rec and Oregon Pool staff
