AUSD – Minutes – Meeting of March 18, 2004

As an educator myself, I can say that Mrs. Brock was an excellent teacher, and her compassion for her students impressed me. She never backed down, and I have to tell you, I whish more teachers were like her today. Either way, in case she can still remember Joey, (who mooned her class that year) I felt compelled to let her know he did well and we are very proud of him. As well, I feel she was part of his academic success, because elementary school is the foundation to high learning.” Sincerely, Jennifer Byrom Mrs. Brock continues to contribute to Alvord students by volunteering in her daughter-in-law, Julia Brock’s class at Foothill Elementary School on a weekly basis.
