The Rollecate Group is your independent partner in the façade industry. The foundation for this slogan began in Staphorst more than half a century ago and is as appro-priate today as it was in the beginning.

Having started as the manufacturer of steel windows, the company developed into an internationally

operating organization based in both the Netherlands and abroad.

All of the subsidiary companies within the Rollecate Group have their own area of expertise, such as

uPVC, aluminium, steel and glass. This corporate structure enables all divisions to thoroughly service

the client. Rollecate’s multi-disciplinary character enables the Group to strengthen its position in the

market and to develop into one of the largest players in the Dutch façade industry with a turnover of

more than 120 million Euros per annum.

The Rollecate Group has matured enormously through their extension with sister companies—Gorter

for instance began in 1936 and Eland-Brandt in 1878. Mohrmann has a longer history to its inception

in 1856 and Kumij adds to our extensive experience specializing in uPVC products since 1955. Thanks

to these sister companies and their experience and knowledge makes Rollecate Group a dynamic

multifaceted organization.

Steel, in use since the 1920’s in various façade constructions and due to the stable and reliable

properties of the material it remains a stable product in classic renovation projects and in new modern

façade constructions. The Rollecate Group has excelled in the steel façade industry as specialists for

decades. Steel is suitable for a great variety of applications and the Rollecate Group is able to produce

specials in both sheet and profile steel.

Moreover, our production facility in Tengelic, Hungary is Europe’s largest manufacturer of steel façade

applications and utilizes the most modern installations for surface treatment that directly complies

with European quality and environmental requirements.

When designing, developing manufacturing, the specialists at the Rollecate Group always give attention

to present day, modern quality requirements. The static value and fire resistance of steel ensures that

steel façade solutions meet safety standards.

Rollecate has been developing and manufacturing uPVC façade elements since 1968 and Kumij has fully specialised in uPVC façade applications since 1980. The Rollecate Group can rely on a rich history of uPVC façade construction.

The Rollecate Group is a market leader in the field of uPVC. Since the expansion with Kumij, the group

provides a high-grade uPVC package for the private and commercial client in both residential and commercial

construction. The project organization focuses on the project market, the regional offices service the

remaining part of the commercial and private market, serviced through the Frame dealer network.

The service package consists of more than just window manufacturing and installation. Right from

the design stage, we support the client with the plan development, detailing and budgeting. With

renovation projects, we offer extra support in the field of dimensioning and occupant information.

Every project is connected to a team serving as a fixed contact point during the entire project.

Rollecate Group R&D department ensures that we stay ahead of product innovation in the field of

product improvement as well as in custom-made solutions for the installation of window screens.

One of the latest developments is in the aluminium adjustment frame for pre-fabricated systemised

constructed residential houses.

The Rollecate Groups processes profiles from the K-vision series. This profile series, introduced in 2005,

complies with the highest requirements for durability, strength, insulations and safety. The K-vision line

Eland-Brandt, as founder of most sliding window and door systems; they lead the way with develop-ments of today and in the future. Eland-Brandt focuses on development and aims at placing standardised products on the market for

years to come, thus, retaining their leading position in sliding technology.

The result is Eland-Brandt Maestri en Maestro Briljant. Their work demonstrates that Eland Brandt not

only responds to the needs in the market but also complies with the current quality requirements and

standards.

Eland-Brandt’s complete architectural freedom with the application of a new design resulted in the

slim lining of products and modular applicability in the composition. Their ambition is to always comply

with the latest standards with products that have high insulation values essential within the sector. This

adaptability gives their products a market unique character.

Eland-Brandt’s product includes sound proofing, energy efficiency, is lightweight and includes maximal

wind and water resistance providing efficient operation built into the various systems. Their systems

include heavy, solid stainless steel ironmongery and concealed water drainage. These quality elements

result in single, double and even triple sliding window and door systems that meet the demands of

architects and contractors where user friendliness is paramount.

The choice for glass offers various production possibilities including many different glass treatments

such as curving, cutting, polishing, grinding, drilling, coating and other treatments making glass a

FlexGlass is a dynamic glass company with a broad experience in the field of glass products and various

glass specials. FlexGlass has its own production facility with ultra modern machinery. FlexGlass provides

strengthened glass doors, windows, window screens, façade glazing, curved glass, various stair and

balcony fencing, partitions, mirror glass and a variety of uniquely designed glass products.

Apart from production, FlexGlass also takes care of the installation of façade constructions. This executed

quickly and skilfully and in good agreement with the client. FlexGlass guarantees quality workmanship

and their expert professional team ensure an adequate, flexible and quick response to demands and

developments on the market.

We, additionally, pride ourselves in our Engineering, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and follow

up care. These qualities make Rollecate Group the preferred partner in the whole process.

The Rollecate Group provides maximum security and stands for preventative advice for all façade

application. Custom advice is translated in personal and involved guidance give by skilled project managers

in development, material selection, acoustics, building physics, safety, fire safety and specification.

The Rollecate Group offers the complete package for any façade construction support and consultation after realisation. Skilled, educated tradesmen in the proper application of a façade provide this individual and personal guidance.

Operation

“Gevelbeheer Nederland” (translated Façade Maintenance Netherlands), provides an excellent support

base for expert advice. This after sales partner provides experienced consultancy and maintenance

relying on years working on facades, façade elements and systems in both commercial and residential

construction. Total maintenance of ironmongery, greasing and repairing of opening parts, applying or

replacing wet seals, the replacement of glazing or uPVC welds of the façade elements is only part of

their skill structure.

Preventative maintenance is yet another field that Façade Maintenance optimally services building in a

technically and economically responsible manner. By way of condition, survey and inspections are carried

out according to requirements as prescribed by VMRG/VKG. We can provide follow up with periodical

maintenance based on warrantee conditions resulting in reliable advice and maintenance works.

The sole aim of this specially organised department provides service to property manager, owners and

contractors before, during and after construction. Part of Rollecate’s total package provides the client

with expert advice, tests and inspections.

This advice may include detailing, sealing, surface treatments and the glazing of façade elements.

During and after construction, advice mostly concerns testing, such as wind and water tightness, advice

regarding complaints and the recovery of any damage that may occur.

Next to production and after sales, the Rollecate Group disposes of various permanent and mobile

testing facilities that make it possible to deliver custom solutions. Tests include bending, strength,

water and air leakage, which are performed in accordance with the VMRG quality requirements giving

insight into the functioning and use of the various materials and applications. The Rollecate Group

testing laboratory is unique when it comes to maximal tests on dimensions and pressure.

The Rollecate Group is eager for others to make use of its advanced testing facilities and to jointly develop

even better products. Additionally, our specialist and well thought through test facilities demonstrate

the way in which the Rollecate Group is a leader in the field of research and development.

Environment friendly

Climate

The environment plays a vital role with the realisation of facades. The products of the Rollecate Group are well recyclable and are thus in excellent exponent of the cradle-to-cradle principle.

Already well established is that the fossil fuels offered by our planet are rapidly becoming a limited

resource. The Rollecate Group realises this and we offer solutions to reduce the use of fossil fuels and

lower the emission of CO2 during the construction and user stage.

Both current and future Energy Assessment Standards are the starting point of our systems offering

you the opportunity to realise an environment conscious choice. Through our sector organisations, we

take part in MRPI agreements (Environment Relevant Product Information).
