Represent Your Employer at Career Fairs

Career & Internship Fairs are popular among students and employers alike. They offer opportunities for students seeking employment or internships to meet with several employers. Employers attend Career & Internship Fairs to meet many students and identify students who may be invited for more in-depth interviews.

Participate in Events on Campus

Fairfield hosts many opportunities for employers to connect with students on campus such as Info Sessions, Exploration Days, Mock Interview Days, and Résumé Reviews, etc. Contact Deirdre Bennett, Manager of Employer Development, to make arrangements at 203-254-4000 ext. 3201 or e-mail [email protected].

HIRE A STAGThe Academic & Career Development Center invites alumni and friends to partner with us. You can help launch Stags into successful careers by posting job and internship opportunities on Stags4Hire, attending Career Fairs, participating in our Job Shadow and Mock Interview programs, and much more!

The typical Fairfield student has a strong work ethic, analytical and communication skills, leadership strength, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to make an immediate impact on your organization!

How Alumni Can Help Current StagsPost a Job Opportunity or Internship on Stags4Hire

Stags4Hire is Fairfield University’s primary job and internship posting resource. Fairfield undergraduate and graduate students and alumni have complete access to Stags4Hire. Stags4Hire is a free posting site that provides all participating employers with 24/7 access to job posting and candidate applications.

In addition to posting job and internship opportunities, participating employers have the ability to schedule interviews on campus and utilize our on-campus interview facilities.

When you know that a Fairfield student is applying for an opportunity at your company, you can support them by being a resource and facilitating their application through your employer’s hiring process.

Participate in Our Alumni Job Shadow Program

Fairfield’s Alumni Job Shadow program pairs students with alumni professionals across the Northeast and beyond for a full or half day of rewarding career exploration during winter break. Students have the chance to sharpen their career focus, network with Fairfield alumni in a field they’re interested in, and enhance their confidence.

Alumni and your organizations likewise have the opportunity to connect with Fairfield students and build awareness of your company and opportunities available in your field.

Schedule On-Campus Interviews

On-campus recruiting for seniors at Fairfield takes place September through April. On-campus recruiting for internships also takes place throughout the year. Employers interested in arranging on-campus interview dates are encouraged to contact Sharon Walsh at 203-254-4000 ext. 2261 or e-mail [email protected].

Speak to an Organization on Campus

Student organizations are an excellent way to make a connection and strengthen your brand on campus. Consider presenting to one of Fairfield’s 90 student clubs or organizations about a current industry topic, career development, and other relevant issues. Contact Deirdre Bennett, Manager of Employer Development, at 203-254-4000 ext. 3201 or e-mail [email protected] to schedule.
