ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, DHULE

College of Agriculture, Dhule was established in 1960 and presently working

under the jurisdiction of MPKV, Rahuri. Since 1960, so far 54 batches of Agricultural

Graduates were passed out upto 2019-20. Therefore, to take the advantage of these

graduates’students; the Alumni Association of College of Agriculture, Dhule was

established on the February 15th, 2019 under the Reg. No. MH / 53 / 2019 Dt. February

15, 2019.

Vision: • Alumni Association is established to engage our alumni in academic excellence,

farm development and farmers sustainability in Maharashtra and India.

Mission: • Alumni Association of Agriculture College, Dhulewill fosters a lifelong spirit of

belongingness and lifelong commitment among Alumni through continuous

engagement with thecollege alumni.

OBJECTIVES: • To explore and utilize intellectual talent of the Alumni for prosperity of the farming

community.

• To nurture a platform for networking and developing the fraternity among Alumni.

• To exchange professional knowledge, organize technical conferences, seminars,

workshops, consultancy, workshops etc.

• To organize training programmers and provide consultancy services in

production technology, processing, marketing and agro-industry to the farmers

and extension functionaries.

• To establish career counseling and guidance centres at the college level with a

view to shaping the career of the students.

• To strengthen the network of the Alumni Association and establish linkages with

the national and international associations and institutions.

EVENTS: FIRST ALUMNI MEET Venue: College of Agriculture, Dhule Date: December 8, 2019

The First Alumni Meet of students passed from College of Agriculture, Dhule was

organized on December 8, 2019 at College of Agriculture, Dhule. Dr. K. P. ViswanathaHon. Vice

Chancellor of MPKV, Rahuri inaugurated the Alumni meet. Ex- Alumni Shri.SarkarsahebRawal,

Chairman and Director, Universal Starch Chem, Allied Ltd. Doindacha was the Chief Guest for

the function. Dr. PankajkumarMahale, Member, Executive Council, MPKV, Rahuri, Dr. S. R.

Gadakh, Director of Research and Extension Education, Prof. R. T. Marathe, Former Associate

Dean of AC, Dhule, Dr. A. M. Musmade, Associate Dean, AC, Dhule and Dr. Laxmimurthy,

Former Chief Conservator of Forests, Uttaranchal were present on the dais.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Viswanatha appreciated the activity of the college in making efforts

to call the alumni on one platform. The alumni can play an important role in developing and

guiding young agricultural entrepreneurs, he hoped. They can also shoulder the responsibility of

transfer of university developed Agril. Technologies to the farmers of their region. He also put

forth the valuable contribution of MPKV in education, research and extension education.

Dr. Musmade in his introductory remarks briefed about the achievements of the college.

Many alumni also expressed their views. Mr. Mayur Patil anchored the programme, while, Dr. P.
