Osmonics has announced the release of their ultraquiet QSH multistage cen- trifugal pump, which features a hori- zontal, modular design. QS Series pumps have a flow-cooled motor en- cased inside its own module. Designed so that feedwater efficiently cools the motor and creates a sound-damping jacket, the QSH excels in any applica- tion that demands quiet performance. The QSH pumps are specifically de- signed to power industrial RO systems.

PPG has introduced a new ultradu- rable spray coating for the aluminum extrusion market. Acrynar acrylic spray coatings offer a unique blend of properties that approach the perfor- mance previously available only in su- perior preformance AAMA 605type coatings. The coatings were developed using a proprietary resin system spe- cifically tailored to the needs of high- traffic environments. The 2-coat sys- tem can be applied wet-on-wet with a nominal coating thickness of 0.4 mil primer and 1.0 mil topcoat.
