Grade 5/6 Scaffold Maths

The Grade 5/6 Unit, along with some of our Grade 4 students, have been working hard on learning multiplication. We are using an evidenced-based program developed by the Department of Education to identify and meet the learning needs of

each and every student. Students are encouraged to develop their multiplication ability through engaging activities.

Working with counters, making arrays.

Investigating dye solutions, focusing on proportion and concentration.

Recording results and reflecting on learning.
