Question:I have access to a VLE/Learning Platform in my work for teaching and assessment Response:I use the VLE routinely in different ways and this work is established in my practice. I use Moodle with students constantly. I use it as a resource that can be accessed at any time from anywhere. It has reduced the need to photocopy and is easy to update. Also use it for students to submit work which helps to track who’s done what.
Question: I produce learning resources using technology
Response:Computer based resources are an essential tool for teaching and learning and success in my work. I switched student projects to computer based (PowerPoint) and quality and results improved dramatically. Students are much more likely to make improvements with work produced in this way. I also convert these to pdf’s to provide post-it note style comments.
