Design dimensions

Description

The 1.11 (AUR) grilles are designed for use in sup-ply and return air applications.

Double deflection grilles have horizontal front bladesand vertical rear blades.

The AURR type grille has a removable core forcleaning or installation.

All grilles feature attractively designed extruded alu-minium features. The blades are aerodynamicallydesigned to provide optimum air flow and low soundpressure level performance.

Standard finishes are natural anodised or powder-coat white. There are 15 other colours available atno additional cost. Please contact your nearestBradflo branch for the selection range.

Other non-standard colours are available uponrequest.

General DescriptionThe filter media is manufactured in a synthetic non-woven material. It offers low air resistance, long lifeand satisfactory dust extraction efficiency with par-ticular emphasis on the collection of fluff, linters andpollens.

Physical Properties of filter material

Temperature resistance: 120o C constant.Fire resistance: Manufactured in fire retardentresin system.

PerformanceWhen tested to AS1132-1973 methods 2 and 4 thefollowing results were obtained.Initial resistance at 1.8 m/s was 27 PaWhen loaded to a final resistance of 125 Pa theaverage resistance was found to be 53.7% and thedust holding capacity 290 g/m2.Note! AS1132 method 4 uses test dust #4.

Model 1.41 (ACB) grilles have been designed forsupply air situations and are especially suited forevaporative cooling systems.These grilles are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 way airflow patterns. The ACB2B may be configured to a 1or 2 way blow and the ACBMB may be configuredto all directions above. Note that when using a neckreducer (ANAG) the configuration of the ACBMBmust be carried out prior to fitting the neck reducer.The blade profiles have been designed to providethe most efficient operation at the lowest possiblesound level.

Description

The 2.13 (AVPA) is a linear plenum diffuserdesigned to suit ceiling T-Bar systems. It has beendesigned specifically for perimeter air distributionsystems although it can be used for other applica-tions.

Special consideration has been given to the variousT-Bar ceiling systems in common use. The 2.13 iscompatible with T-Bar face sizes from 25 to 30 mm.The insulation is 25mm thick glasswool with theends uninsulated. Other types of insulation areavailable

The 2.13 diffusers are designed to handle maximumair quantities at the lowest practicable sound levelsand are available in either one or two slot configura-tions.All diffusers are manufactured from galvanised steeland aluminium. The blade position is adjustablethrough the face of the diffuser.

FinishAll visible surfaces in situ are painted black.

Description

The 2.21 (AABS) diffusers are designed to be fittedto recessed fluorescent light fittings. They may alsobe used in conjunction with a ceiling T-Bar system.

Full details of the light fittings must be provide toensure the correct interface of the light with the airboot. This is essential to ensure optimum air distribu-tion performance is obtained from the combination.

Insulated versions of the diffuser plenum are notinsulated at the ends.

Three basic types of blade and slot width provide airflow direction of 90o up to 180o.

All diffusers are manufactured from galvanised sheetsteel and aluminium blades which may be adjustedvia the outlet slot.

Australian standard

The 2.21 diffuser complies with the requirements ofthe Australian Standard AS 2946 - 1987

All visible surfaces are painted flat black.

Description

The 2.31 (ACT) square cone type directional dif-fuser is all aluminium construction and has beendesigned to meet modern building requirements.

Standard frame configurations are available whichare suitable for T-bar, tile or plaster ceilings.

To maximize versatility, the 2.31 series diffusersallow different blow patterns.

The core section is removable for easy installationand maintenance.

As with all Bradflo air products, this diffuser offersmaximum air flow characteristics whilst maintaininglow noise levels.

FinishThe standard finish is powdercoat white, baked at atemperature of 180 deg. C. There are fifteen otherstandard colours available.

Other colours are available as specials uponrequest.

2.55 Bradflo FLANGED JET DIFFUSER DJD

The Bradflo DJD jet nozzle allows high volumes of air to be delivered over long distances. The

centre of the DJD can be rotated to allow for accurate air distribution and can be used for either jet

or diffuse applications.

The diffuser is constructed using spun aluminium segments, creating a lightweight and corrosion

resistant jet diffuser.

Standard finish is powder coated white with other colours available on request.

Description

The 2.63 (APR) is a circular perforated supply airdiffuser for mounting in ceilings where exactingrequirements for draught free conditions are neces-sary, such as in schools, offices and hotels.

The air is supplied partly through the perforatedside. This type of construction gives the device ahigh degree of induction and makes the 2.63 modelsuitable for systems with variable air flow, or forinstallations where air has to be supplied with alarge negative temperature and short throw.

The design provides a fully radial pattern and min-imises the occurrence of dust accumulating on theceiling.

The 2.63 model can be ceiling mounted or directlymounted into exposed ductwork.

HIGH VOLUME SWIRL DIFFUSERS

Description The High Volume Swirl Diffuser provides a uniform radial pattern of air across the ceiling to provide a good temperature distribution with minimal draughts in the occupied zones. The design ensures comfort can be maintained across a broad range of flow rates.

It is designed to be either flush ceiling mounted in a grid section or plasterboard mounted. The plenum is fitted with an internal diffuser plate to improve the pressure distribution. The diffuser is secured by a single centre screw and hidden from view behind a push-on decorative cap.

For lower flow rates, restriction rings (#1 to 5) are available for the PHVSD595-500 and aesthetically hides inside the neck behind diffuser face.

Square or round face swirl diffusers are available with size details on the next page.

The standard finish is a white (RAL9016) powder-coat but other colours are available..

Description

The 3.13 ADE plenums provide multiple functionsby incorporating into the acoustically designedplenum, a damper and measuring device.

The multi-function plenum provides a technical,acoustically highly effective air terminal device foruse with all types of square, rectangular and circulardiffusers. It includes a measuring and balancingdevice which provides a simple and effective

method of measuring and balancing air flow.

The damper is operated through the face of the dif-fuser as is the connections for the measuringdevice.

The design of the plenum provides even air flowacross the face of the diffuser.

Description

The 3.33 ASE plenums provide multiple functions byincorporating into the acoustically designed plenum,a damper and measuring device.

The multi-function plenum provides a technical,acoustically highly effective air terminal device foruse with all types of square, rectangular and circulardiffusers. It includes a measuring and balancingdevice which provides a simple and effectivemethod of measuring and balancing air flow.

The damper is operated through the face of the dif-fuser as is the connections for the measuringdevice.

The design of the plenum provides even air flowacross the face of the diffuser.

The plenum is manufactured from galvanised steel.

Description

The 4.21 ARU is a fixed air measuring device formounting in circular ductwork. It provides a verysimple and highly accurate method of measuring theair flow.

The air flow rate is determined by measurement ofthe differential pressure across the mid mountedsensor then cross referenced to the diameter of themeasuring unit.

There are two different models for damper adjust-ment. The ARC model with inside control cords andtest tubes which must be accessed through the faceof the grille or diffuser and the ARE model whichhas the damper control and test tubes external tothe unit. A control motor may be fitted to the AREmodel.

The unit is constructed out of galvanised steel.
