M Y I N T E N T I O NI created this collection of Archetype Anointing Oils in acknowledgment, celebration, and validation of the multifaceted nature of women.

I see us as disco balls, sparkling with many facets. We shift and turn throughout our lives. Different aspects of our Selves are illuminated, or are more prominent/evident at different times. We can shift year to year, day to day, hour by hour. I might wake up as the Girl Child, rock out the Warrior by lunch and slide into the Tantrika by night.

These anointing oils are to remind us that we are complex rather than fragmented.

Though we naturally make these shifts, I created these oils as a tool to evoke a shift as well. You might be stuck in a Wisdom Keeper mode, and need the freshness of the Girl Child, for instance.

The anointing oils may be used in a variety of ways. You can anoint yourself in acknowledgement of an archetype you are embodying. You may need to evoke a certain archetype whose presence you need. They are wonderful to include in any type of rite. They are also lovely as perfumes for the body.

There are, of course, many Archetypes. I simply chose a few that I frequently encounter for this collection. If the words that I chose don’t resonate with you, please smell the aromas anyway. I have no doubt

that the plants know more than I do, and that you will recognize one another easily.

I crafted these oils with Love. They are a collaborative effort with botanical intelligence; a prayer for healing and equilibrium in a vehicle of aromatic metabolized starlight.
