All‐Star Team Registration Information rev. ‐ 1/21/2017 JD

No team will be allowed to participate in any tournament until their team and coaches have

been registered and approved by their respective District JO Commissioner

ID card Requirement – Each adult in the dugout or on the field is required to have a current photo ID card that shows a

clear background check. ID cards are obtained through the team’s respective league. The ID card MUST be worn around

the neck and visible at all team functions.

ACE/Safe Sport Requirement – USACC is requiring that each team have TWO adult ACE and Safe Sport certified coaches.

The two-adult requirement will be enforced at the Association Championships. ACE and Safe Sport can be obtained by

logging on to RegisterUSASoftball.com web site after May 15th. Assistance with accessing your account or ACE should be

Classification Policy – All USACC Summer All‐Star teams shall be classified “B” or “C” If a league has more than two All

Star teams in the same division, Then the league must class one team as “B” before the additional team can be registered

1. A second team may be formed from a league. Note: The second team must be made up of “second tier players” that tried out for the first team and were not selected (players cannot select to play for the second team).

2. If a third team is formed from a league then that team must be made up of “third tier players” that tried out for the 1st and 2nd team and were not selected. (players cannot select to play for the third team)

3. Teams and their players formed before the last Saturday in April will be Classified as “B”

Teams will be classified at time of team’s registration. Once a team/player classification has been set there will be no

reclassifications. Exception : “C” teams and “B” teams forming after the last Saturday of April can request

reclassification thru the JO Commissioner.

Tournament Registration – Information on the Association Championships can be obtained online at

8U Team Information – All 8U teams are considered unclassified and can play in either “B” or “C” tournaments only.

Teams should also be aware that all tournaments will use adopted 8U rules. The 8U Rules can be viewed HERE on our

website.
