Course aimsTo provide an in-depth understanding of the effects of the different alloying elements found in steels. This will cover the effects on processing, properties and heat treatment. The content can be tailored to concentrate on specific alloying additions, if required.
Who should attendStaff from technical functions both new and experienced who are involved in materials selection, technical specifications, vetting of orders quality control, material processing and customer liaison. A basic knowledge of metallurgy will be assumed.
