Other Requirements or Information: Students are also encouraged to do a research thesis with a faculty member during their senior year. Students who successfully complete the thesis graduate “with Distinction.”

Requirements to Enter Honors after Enrollment at OSU or Transfer to OSU:To receive initial honors status from the School, the student must have a minimum of 30 credit hours of OSU or transferred coursework and have at least a 3.4 GPA in all previous courses. Students who receive the honors designation must develop an Honors Plan and will be reviewed at the end of Spring Quarter. OSU honors students who are transferring into SAMP will maintain their honors status, develop an Honors Plan, and be eligible for review at the end of Spring Quarter as required of all SAMP Honors students.
