Since he sold as second high-selling bull in SAF 2002 sale for $25,000, Directive has earned a powerful EPD profile, ranking in the top 2% for $W and the top 5% for $B. 14 sons sold through SAF’s last two production sales, averaging $4,993 on these long-bodied, big scrotal, slick-haired bulls.SAF Royal Queen 5084, the natural dam of Directive, has produced $427,783 in direct progeny sales for Sydenstriker, and has 14 sons being used in their program.

SAV Pioneer 7301 is the $65,000 top-selling bull from the 2008 SAV Sale. He is the most prominent and heavily used bull of his calf crop in the Angus breed and is positioned to be the next step beyond his legendary Pathfinder sire. Pioneer scanned a 365-day REA of 17.7 inches with a yearling scrotal of 42 cm. His feminine, beautiful-uddered dam records a weaning ratio of 110 on 3 calves. Pioneer stamps his attractive progeny with a very gentle disposition. They combine modest birth weight with exceptional length, performance and balance.

“Freedom” was deemed by the Canadian Angus Assoc. at the 5th place “Bull of the Year” in 2009. “53U” is leaving us a great group of calves every year that are easy to pick out with great style. He was retained for his great temperment, and strong maternal attributes stem-ming from his mother who possessed great feet and udder qualities second to none. With this package came his impressive performance that is showing up in all of his calves.His first daughters are calving with ease, are docile, and picture perfect udders.

“Titan“ is a bull that we came across at the World Angus Forum. He had calves that showed that day that caught our eye and upon investigation found he as well was in the stall and made a great impression that day in the ring. He has worked well here giving us calves with a little more jam, frame and performance. While keeping on track with great phenotype. An impressive 1469 lbs yearling weight will be sure to turn a few heads.

“Dutch” was purchased in the Spring of 07 from Merit Cattle Co. of Saskatchewan. He had the performance and eye appeal we had been looking for in a new herd sire, and out of Dwajo Dutch 65P a bull that caught our eye the year he showed in Edmonton and took Calf Champion Honors. “Dutch’s” Mom was no slouch herself. Dutch is leaving light birth weight calves average 86lbs and perform well to weaning and beyond and are all patterned the same. Calves have lots of vigor.

A bull that combines elite sires like Gunsmoke, Battlecry, Scotchcap & 315. Probably the longest bodied calf in our offering, Stemming back to the now 20 yr old Eve Cow. Brothers at “One Four”,“Hicken”& “7-Persons

Out of a first calf heifer, sired by our “Dutch” bull ( Merit 6080). That has left us with a lot of offspring that work before we lost him this past spring. 12Y’s sire is the #1 ranked bull for docility in the breed and offers some great carcass traits.

Dam has Magic Man & Stockman 365 close in her pedigree. 7Y’s sire is our own raised Junior herdsire, offering depth of body and docility. Brothers at Carl Parsonge, James Bekkering, Irwin Schlenker Farms, Hicken, 1 sister retained.
