STEWARDSHIPREFLECTION
Intoday’sGospelreadingJesusis quite emphatic: “My sheephear my voice…” Those whoexercise good stewardship oftheir prayer lives realize thathearing or listening is funda‐mental to prayer. Prayer is apersonal encounter with theLord and requires dialogue. Some people never learn theartoflistening.Whenweenterinto a dialogue with someonewe love, we speak andwe lis‐ten. Otherwise it cannot be adialogue. Thisweek let’s thinkabout howwe pray. Dowe doall the talking and then get upand do something else? Or dowesitquietly, waitingforGod’svoicetoenterourhearts?
