Tracer services from the Danish Technological InstituteWe offer a complete range of tracer operation services: Design, legal authorization, injection equipment, chemical sourcing, tracer injection, sampling, sample equipment and logistics, training of local personnel, analyses, interpretation and report-ing.

Interwell tracer test•Optimize [reservoir development and] sweep through knowledge of direct communication between wells•Low-cost,non-intrusiveoperations•Getresultsfastwithuniqueon-site analysis or sample and ship to the analysis laboratory

We offer two types of interwell tracer tests:•Interwell tracer testwith chemical tracer – Injection of water soluble inert chemical tracer and sampling from the relevant production wells. AnalysesaredoneatDTILabfacili- ties (onshore)•Interwell tracer test with deute- rated water tracer – Technology has been developed in cooperation with Maersk oil, and successfully applied in the Danish North Sea. Deuteratedwater(D2O)isinjected and watersamples from the produc- tion well are analyzed on-site according to D2O content. The on-site results enable for immediate decision making and planning of the follow-

ing tracer test, which could include, change in injection rates, opening/ closing a section of the well etc. Tracer tests with deuterated water have proven especially valuable for characterizationofhighflowfractures, for reference see SPE-154878
