Why Wind Power?

Based on wind data collected by Pakistan Meteorological Department, AEDB has established/identified a “Wind Corridor”

The corridor is 60 Km wide (Gharo to Keti Bandar) & extends upto Hyderabad

According to AEDB, the area within the corridor has potential to produce 50,000 MW of electricity

Keeping in view the huge available potential of wind power, current deficit of electricity in Pakistan and the technological development in wind power worldwide, Allama Abu Bakr Memorial Wind Power Company intends to diversify and install a wind farm
