8.Ourhorse'slastracemusthavebeenahandicap

Thisisaninterestingfinalangleforoursystem,butneverthelessaneffectiveone.Ahorseisfirstallowedahandicapratingonceithasrunaminimumof3races.Thisappliestobothflatandjumpsracingseparately.

Sothereisanelementofincreasedexperienceatthetrackfromhorseswhohavepreviouslyruninhandicaps.Ihaveacoupleofadditionaltheoriesinthisareaincludingthecreationofvaluethroughhandicapping,andweightsadvantagesofpreviouslyhandicappedhorses.Butillnotboreyouwiththeintricatedetails

Goingthroughthebacktestingforthisrule,ithasprovedtoaprofitableangle.Withtheothersystemrulesapplied,horsespreviouslyracinginnonhandicapsshowalossof8.28points.Notthatsubstantial,butcomparedwithhorseswhosepreviousracewasahandicapthisshowsamassiveprofitof73.7points.
