“All we like sheep have gone astray, each one turned to his

own way”

Isaiah 53:6

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will

remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of

flesh.

John 3 …

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a

member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night

John 3:3

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the

kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

John 3:4

"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked.

"Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be

born!”

John 3:6

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 3:7

You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born

again.’

John 3:9

"How can this be?" Nicodemus asked.

John 3:14-15

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have

eternal life.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not

perish but have eternal life.

John 3:17

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him.”

John 19 …

Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a

disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish

leaders.

With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away.

He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier

had visited Jesus at night.

Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-

five pounds.

Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen …  Because it was

the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they

laid Jesus there.

We are never so righteous, that we overcome our need for

Christ.

John 4:5

So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar …

John 4:6

Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It

was about the sixth hour.

John 4:7

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her,

"Will you give me a drink?”

John 4:14

“Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up

to eternal life.”

John 4:39

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of

the woman's testimony.

We are never so righteous, that we overcome our need for

Christ.

We are never so sinful, that Christ doesn’t offer new life to

us.

Acts 3:19

Repent and turn to God, so that times of refreshing may come

from the Lord.
