Those who grew up in the Sacramento region may remember the Denio’s jingle “What’s new at Denio’s…” The company has totally shifted it’s marketing to social media; they have a significant presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other forums. On Facebook, Denios has over 50,000 “likes.” Denio’s maintains a family-safe environment. They are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Program: Jeff Ronten—Denio’s Market Farmers Market

and Swap Meet

In 1947, Jim and Marilee Denio began

selling produce out of the back of a

pickup truck. 67 years later, the

business maintains the largest farmers’

market and garage sale in the region.

Jeff Ronten, the company’s President/

CEO, continues working with the

family and maintains many of the

original values held by Jim and

Marilee. As the business expanded, the Denio’s opened up space

to individual vendors. Today, for $25 a person can rent space to

set up their own garage sale. For businesses reselling products,

liquating, or selling hand-craft items, a vendor permit is

required. Denio’s will assist those want to rent space. Those

who grew up in the Sacramento region may remember the

Denio’s jingle “What’s new at Denio’s…” The company has

totally shifted it’s marketing to social media; they have a

significant presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other

forums. On Facebook, Denios has over 50,000 “likes.” Denio’s

maintains a family-safe environment. They are open Fridays,

Saturdays, and Sundays. So when you have time, “take a peek at

Denio’s.”
