Gas Lift Choke & Control Valves• Gas li� flow control valves are

available in both in-line and angle body configura�ons with flange, threaded or flanged welded connec�ons.

• With a range of trim sizes and materials these valves use a profiled plug moving into a seat to vary flow area and provide fine control.

• Flow control valves have become the valve of choice in many gas li� installa�ons.

‘Plug & Cage’ Control Choke 3” to 12”Control Choke Trim-In Line Valve Control Chokes use 4x4 trim design. -Flow is directed through sets of 4 ports into the centre of the flow cage, where it impinges onto itself.-4 ports in the lower sec�on provide fine control at low openings, whilst 4 larger ports provide capacity for higher flows.

‘Plug & Cage’ TrimPlug moves inside a ported flow cage.This design maximises flow capacity for a cage trim choke.

The plug is fully guided by the flow cage and balance chamber.

The flow cage is supported both at the top by the body and bonnet. As well as in the outlet of the valve therefore providing a very robust trim design.

Tungsten carbide seat, flow cage and plug base enhance the erosion resistance of this robust trim.

Pressure balanced trim reduces opera�ng torque

External Sleeve TrimFlow control sleeve moves outside a ported flow cage. This design maximises erosion resistance of a cage trim choke.

Flow is directed into the trim via ports and impinges in the centre of the flow cage. The flow sleeve is guided by the flow cage and balance chamber.

The controlling element (flow sleeve) moves in a lower flow velocity regime and leads to the high wear resistance of this design of trim.

Tungsten carbide seat, flow cage and flow sleeve liner enhance the erosion resistance of this trim.

Pressure balanced trim reduces opera�ng torque.

Mul�stage TrimsSevere service flow control may require for pressure to be dropped over a number of stages thereby dissipa�ng energy, controlling noise genera�on or elimina�ng cavita�on.

In Line Valve provides control valves and chokes that use either ‘disc stack’ type trims, or ‘concentric cage’ type trims such as this model CC trim.

CC trims are available with 2, 3 or 4 stage of pressure reduc�on via mul�ple channels and flow cages.

ED trims are generally used in applica�ons requiring large numbers of pressure reduc�on stages such as water dumping and high pressure gas produc�on.

Actuated Control ChokesAutoma�onIn Line Valve chokes can be automated using linear or rotary actuators with power from:

• Pneuma�c.• Hydraulic.• Electric.

Actuators may be mounted in line with the valve stem or at an angle to the valve stem, which allows for moun�ng within a restricted space and for disassembly of the valve bonnet and internals whilst the actuator is sill mounted to the valve body.

Industry proven design gate valves with non rising stem built in accordance with ISO 10423 (API 6A).

Full range of sizes including 7-1/16” and up to 10,000 pressure ra�ngs these valves are available for manual, hydraulic or pneuma�c opera�on.

Features:

1. Packing retainer allows for replacement of bearings or stem pin whilst a valve is under pressure.

2. Range of materials for both body and trim.

3. Thrust bearings reduce opera�ng torques. 4. Shoulder on the stem may be backseated

against the bonnet to seal the stuffing box, permi�ng replacement of stem packing.

5. Gate construc�on is designed to prevent line sediments from entering the body cavity and is designed to prevent pressure locks when the upstream pressure is reduced.
