• If automobiles are left in a garage, all win-dows must be rolled down, trunk left open and trunk light disabled.

• Schedule to have natural or propane gas lines shut off

Schedule with the gas company to shut off all natural gas at the gas meter or propane gas at the tank valve supplied to the site to guard against problems associated with gas leaks and to prevent fumigant from reacting with hot surfaces. It is the occupant’s responsibility to have the gas turned back on and pilot lights re-lit after the property has been released. We cannot fumigate the property if the gas is not shut off. (NOTE: Terminix will schedule gas shut off in California.)

Due to the nature of the work, we cannot be held responsible for damaged plants.

PREPARING FOR YOUR FUMIGATION

Drywood termites can be anywhere in your home. But they can’t hide from us. Our home fumigation (“tenting”) process is a complete and effective treatment for getting rid of your termite problem.

Terminix® will take care of the termites, but there are a few things you as the homeowner need to do before we get started. Be sure to follow all instructions and let us know if you have any questions before we get started.

1. Terminix will remove any food items found in the premises that are not in factory-sealed glass or metal containers or Nylofume bags which may incur additional charges. Non-perishables may be stored outside of the building and tarped area at your cost and liability.2. If Terminix removes any antennae, weather vanes etc., there may be an extra charge; we will not re-install them, nor will we be responsible for inadequate function or damage resulting from the removal or re-installation.3. Terminix will not be responsible for any loss or damage due to vandalism, theft or other act of third parties.
