M ISS W YCKOFF SIN GS IN C H A PE L

Miss Wyckoff, our music teacher is an excellent singer as well a s a rem arkable pianist. This wax proved in auditorium period on Friday morning when she entertained the students and the faculty with four selections. The songs were: “ The Kashm ir Song" “ The Little Brown Owl,” an d “ Lave'# Old Sweet Song.” ‘

The students enjoyed these numb er; very much indeed and they all joined in expresaing a desire to hear Miss W yckoff again— very soon.

A fter the singing, Miss Clock had a very valuable lesson in store for the pupils in the form of slides, illustrating the great benefit o f a high school and college education. Miss Clock had gathered material from many sources all over the United I States and showed by graphs and sim ilar methods the importance o f a I high school diploma and the advantage

Harry Taub Bows To Eulo’s Roughhouse

His defeat by Joey Marcienti several weeks ago taught Jo ey Eulo a great lesson. The only w ay to win a fight is by a knock out was that lesson.

He put it into effect last Sa tu rday at the Ridgewood Grove Arena and the unfortunate victim of Jo e y 's new learning wes Harry Traub, Brooklyn flyweight. Joey pummeled the Brooklyn • boy so viciously that the referee halted the scrap in the fifth round.

Joey hooked nnd cuffed Traub at will and the referee’s move was an act of charity.

How ' Electricity

Has Changed House Cleaning

Practices

KEEPING the house in order once required a great deal of “woman power." Electricity

has changed that. Working through tested appliances, electricity maintains thé cleanliness demanded by the most exactin'« housekeeper, with no more demands upon her strength than the mere guiding of the appliance requires.

Polishing Floorsused to he a "down-on-the-knees" job. Now the electric floor po'isher makes the wood flooring gleam in a short time while the housekeeper merely guides the polisher.
