“I really can’t say enough about Allison,
she is the most humble person that Iknow,” Smalley said. “She is just a hardworker who never quits.”
The coach pointed to one midseasonstretch in which Sell played through anarm injury.
“I didn’t even know how she could gripthe club,” Smalley said. “She would notquit and completed the round, she didn’twant to let her team down.
“All the girls respect her so muchbecause of her hard work, determinationand dedication. I can always count onAllison, not only on the course but in theclassroom. She won the state tournamentand 30 minutes later she was in the carstudying for her classes the next day.

OCA’s Drewke signs with OCOklahoma Christian Academy senior Kara Drewke signed to play soccer at
Oklahoma Christian University this week.Pictured, seated from left, are OCA football coach Keith Lough, Kara Drewke, OC
women’s head soccer coach Randall Robinson and OCA basketball coach Elzie Clark.Standing from left are Kara’s father, Rob Drewke, sister, Erin Drewke, and mother, KimDrewke.
The signing is particularly significant given that OCA does not field a soccer team, and Drewke’s club team, the Tsunami at Edmond Soccer Club, is a recreational team— a boys recreational team.
“When she started high school, she was able to kick for the football team, play bas-ketball and run track and cross country,” Kim Drewke said. “The competitive (soccer)schedule was too demanding, and she wanted to keep her commitments to her schoolsports,” so she moved to a recreational team. She wanted to be more competitive, soshe went to ESC coach Albert Aguilar, who put her on the Tsunami boys team.
Drewke has been a referee at ESC for about six years, and is at a level that allows herto officiate high school-age games.
At OC, she hopes to continue playing outer midfield, and plans on running track aswell.
“She loves to run,” her mother said.
