IntroductionI would like to thank you for giving me the time to express myself in many ways through this portfolio. I will give you some facts about who I am as a person. Along the way, you will find many life 

lessons that would help you in the future. If you read them clearly you will find that some things I’ve learned that you’ve also been through. I hope you enjoy this portfolio for you will end with Happiness. I hope you enjoy my portfolio.

Prologue: A taste of my Personality #1Hi there fellow reader, before I say anything else, first I would like to thank you for having the chance to open up this book that I have created. This is an opportunity to walk through my 

life as if you were me. In this book you will find many things that signifies who I am as a person. Things like my likes and dislikes, where I'm from, and many more. You may find things in here that you never knew about me, but find it quite interesting. I hope you like what you read on this portfolio!

I am a zesty person when someone blames me for something I didn't do. I will tell them straight until they know that I am innocent.

What’s in a name #3The relationship with myself and my name doesn’t seem to be bad at all. When I was younger I hated my name because I hardly heard of any other girl with the same name. it’s okay,

I would’ve wanted my name to be Jaylene because of the meaning to that name. Jaylene is my parents name put together. I am actually really thankful for having the name that my parents have blessed me with.

There is a story behind my name. My older brother Jason enjoyed the movie power rangers, and the pink ranger happened to be his favorite character. The day I was born, my mom called my brother into the room. The nurse walked in and asked my mom what she was going to name me. My brother asked my mom if she could name me Kimberly, but my mom said she wanted to name me Jaylene. My brother threw a big fit and told my mom that if she doesn’t name me Kimberly, he will hate me and pick on me for the rest of my life. So eventually, my mom decided to name me Kimberly.

Future-Fantasy & Fact #4Ten years from now I would be a queen on the mariana’s islands. I will be married to king Alan of yigo, Guam. I will have 8 servants, 8 maids, 8 doormen, and 20 Horses. Everyday will be different. Mondays is red day, Tuesday is

Blue, Wednesday is green, Thursday is purple, And Friday is Pink. I would have 4 kids by the name of Jay’Ryan Daniel, Kialani Jasine, Ariana Lynn, and Alan Jr.

Ten years from now I would be a high school graduate waiting for her time to graduate from college. I would be working as a Registered Nurse in GMH. I would be married to Alan Benavente. I will have four beautiful kids. I would have my own house and my cars. I would be Living a happy and healthy life.

Sensory Experiences # 5I can smell smoke ahead. It smells like Barbeque. My stomach is growling as I walk closer to it. It is the july 21 and I almost forgot its liberation day. I see many individuals walking around, like little crazy ants. I hear the laughter

coming from different directions. I Finally reach my destination. I see my family enjoying their day. Oooo what a hot day it is. Every moment I spend with them is another loveable memory I cherish.

Room sweet room # 6Inside my room is just a view of who I am and the important people in my life. I have my daughter’s photos all over my room. I have a cross in memory of her. Her rosary beads lay on her beautiful beanie. My room is my life. It consists of the many things that I value the most. All the things that remind

me of her, I keep them. When I take photos of her grave, I hang them on my wall.

Symbolic Recipe #7I am a nice person to those who respect me for who I am. I am a feisty person towards those who judge my life without knowing the stories that made me this way. I forgive those

who apologize to me when they know I’ve done nothing wrong. I am a very trustworthy and loyal friend. If you trust

me with your deepest darkest secrets, I will not go around telling people everything. I will keep my word, and I will not break it. When I am at the lowest part of my life, I don’t give

up on myself. I will I build my bridge so that I could climb over it and see the other side.

The ultimate all-purpose excuse #8As I was walking to class as the bell rang for fifth period, I suddenly walked into the middle of a fight. I tried my best to go around, but as I moved, the crowd was pushing me in. I tried to push myself out again, but this time a girl comes out of nowhere and pulled my hair. My friend Jessica came out of nowhere and started punching her in the face. I 

couldn’t let my friend fight, so I tried to stop it. Suddenly I see everybody hitting each other, and it came from behind me.  I ran out of the crowd pulling my friends with me. We both started laughing and went our separate ways. As I was going to open your door, Mr. Mantanona called me to him. He said that I was the one who started all the ruckus and I explained to him what happened. Then I came in twenty minutes prior to the bell ringing. I’m sorry I’m late Mrs.Griffin. I hope you don’t think I’m making this up. 

Personal Metaphors #91. If I were an animal, I would be a butterfly. I would want to be able to fly and roam freely. I would want to go to the places I always wanted to see without stressing over wasting gas or gas money. 

2. If I were a car, I would want to be a Toyota truck. I want to be a reliable car, and a car that will last long. I want to be useful to my owners.

3. If I were a clothing, I would want to be a silky fabric. It is smooth, shiny, and comfortable. I would want to be useful to those who love my texture. 

4. If I were to be a day in the week, I would choose to be Sunday. Sunday is a day that everyone enjoys with their loved ones. The day everyone looks forward to, especially me. That is the day that I enjoy with my little family. It is the day that I visit my daughter and talk to her about all te things that are happening in my life. 

5. If I were food, I would want to be a grape. With every finger that picks from my branch, will be filled with lots of joy and laughter.

6. If I were a color, I would be Pink. It reminds me of my daughter. It reveals the feminine side of all girls. It’s girly and very pretty.

7. If I were a movie, I would want to be under the romantic section. It reminds me of myself. With a touch of love, you whole day could be filled with nothing but happiness.

8. If I were a fragrance, I would want to be sweet honesty. Because nothing is sweeter to a woman than Honesty from her other half.

9. If I were a type of building, I would want to be the tower of Paris. I would want many people to see the beauty of me and talk about it from all over.

10. If I were a plant, I would want to be a rose. With every hand that picks from my tree, will love and be loved from their loved ones.

11. If I were a musical instrument, I would choose to be a piano. I would want to feel as if I am a very useful tool.

12. I f I were to be a geometric shape, I would want to be a star. That is the one thing I enjoy looking at in the sky and my daughter is somewhere up there.

13. If I were a piece of furniture, I would want to be a couch, because many people it useful in many occasions.

14. If I were a song, I would want to be dancing in the sky. That song reminds me of my daughter who is sleeping in heaven above. 

15. If I were a season, I would want to be the summer, because that is the season my daughter was born in. And it’s the time I see many people enjoying their summer with their loved ones.

16. If I were a television character, I would be Madea. She is crazy, open minded, and just plain crazy. Like me!

17. If I were a cartoon character, I would be tweety bird. She is cute and very yellow. I just love her. 

18. If I were an appliance, I would be a refrigerator.  I would always want to be cold and useful.

19. If I were a natural phenomenon, I would be an eclipse. It comes every year.

20. If I were to be a word, I would want to be love. I would want to see how my word could influence everyone.

 

A piece of me: what I like & dislike #10 Likes: 1. I like visiting my girl every Sundays. 2. I like eating chocolates. 3. I like meeting positive people

 4. I LOVE GOD! 5. I like Love & Romance; movies, plays, etc. 6. I really like the cartoon movie frozen! Because I am a cartoon fan. 7. I like talking and learning about interesting subjects. 8. I like to be neat & clean. If I don’t like things the way it is, I will fix it. 9. I like spending quality time with my friends & family members. 10. I like watching cartoons. Such as, SpongeBob, frozen, Mulan , Anastasia, etc. 11. I like making me fruit shakes before and after I go running. 12. I like to go running so that I can release all the stress that I have inside of me. 13. I like snacking on lots of junk food when I am sad & depressed. 14. I like to make people smile when they are having a bad day. 15. I like the fact that I am currently passing my classes this year. 

 Dislikes: 1. I dislike seeing my things being misplaced. It makes me mad. 2. I dislike those who are brown noses towards the teachers. 3. I dislike annoying people. 4. I dislike anything that crawls. 5. I dislike having homework from class. 6. I dislike loud noises that aren’t melodious. 7. I dislike walking around with a shattered heart. 8. I dislike learning subjects that are boring. 9. I dislike lazy people. The ones who go to school to sleep, have bad grades, and to irritate teachers when they’re trying to help them. 10. I dislike writing so much. As in writing on paper for the whole period on an unattractive subject. 11. I dislike having work. But I have to go through with it. 12. I dislike unsanitized objects. I really don’t want to be sick. 

13. I dislike reading books that take forever to read. 14. I dislike being behind a very slow driver, or being that drivers passenger. 15. I dislike riding the bus. 

Unfinished sentences #11 I usually worry about failing my classes this year. I feel angry when I ask people to do something and they act as if they didn’t hear me. I am moody when I am having a bad day. I am happiest when I visit my daughter every Sunday. I feel confident when I improve my grades. I feel frustrated when I see students disrespecting their teacher. I feel depressed when I imagine my life if my kids 

were here with me. I am comfortable when I read the bible when I have my bad days. I feel nervous when people ask me how old my daughter is without knowing she is departed. I feel sentimental when I look at my daughters pictures while holding her beanie and her rosary bead. 

Personal symbol #12 I have a picture of my daughter sleeping in her adorable all white coffin. Her father and I has our hands inside, touching her face. The symbol of that picture is that we are parents, our child isn’t physically here with us, but she is spiritually. It symbolizes unconditional love between a child and their parents. The courage to say goodbye until 

another time. Parents longing for their child’s love. A sense of commitment towards each other. God has chosen our babies to be with him, because he only takes the best. This is a lesson learned for us. God has given us life so that we can realize how important we all are. We must cherish every moment with those who love, because we don’t 

know when it’ll be our last to see them. 

The list of lists’ #13 1. The people who influenced me would be my Mom because although she has been through a lot, she has managed to get back on her feet. My daughter, because she had changed the person I used to be. She has given me a chance to change my life and make it better. The reason I am who I am today. My boyfriend, although he may not have graduated from high school, but he pushes me until I succeed. My friends and family, because they are always 

here for me when I need them. My teachers, without them, how do I learn different things that I don’t even know about. 2. Places that make me happy would be my daughters place. Every Sunday I go and visit her. It is peaceful and I just love being with her. Also the beach, because it is peaceful and calm. It is a great place to go to cool down and think things over. Going to church and praising to god makes me very happy! 3. The places that I would like to go would be to New York, times square because it has beautiful colorful lights. 4. The things in people that I like are their positivity. I like their personalities. 5. things in people that I dislike are their negativity. I dislike their laziness. I dislike cocky people. I dislike perverts. 6. Things that worry me are losing my mother, seeing my family fall apart, watching a teacher be disrespected, not graduating, getting suspended, failing classes, people constantly asking about my daughter. 7. the things I would like to know how to do would be Sewing, carpentry, mechanic, plumbing, electrician, singing, dancing, having patience, calming down and understand some complicated things. 8. the things that have moved me would be the promises that I made to my daughter. I promised her that I will do my best to go back to school and graduate, make my life better. People who were once going through money issues, turn out to be the highest they thought they could be. 9. the ideas that intrigue me would be graduating high-school, going to college, getting a stabled job, buying my dream house, buying my car, and having my own family. 10. My very own personal favorites would be visiting my daughter every Sunday, her rosary beads, her beanie, being 2 angel babies 

mother, keeping my promise I made to my daughter. Spending quality time with my friends and family members. 

Advice to the youngsters #14 Many have told me not to mess up in freshman year. Guess what? I didn’t listen. Because I didn’t listen to them warn me, I am still here. It is my 5th year in GW. Yes I am a super senior. Being a super senior it twice the hard work and triple the stress level. You must always remember that when you give respect, respect will come back to you. If you notice when you disrespect someone, 

they put you down. And if you respect them, they will give you the same respect. Just know that if you act crazy when you are young, your kids will be kind of like you, but 100x’s worst. 

Are you hungry? #15 My favorite meal would be kind of hard to talk about. Why? Because I love food. There is no specific kind of meal that I like. I can have hundreds of meals and types of foods that I like. I will label some of them. I love pizza, doesn’t matter where from. It could be at Little Caesars, Pizza hut, Dominos, and even Papa John’s. I love to eat spaghetti, not the sweet one though. My mom makes the best spaghetti I have ever tasted. No one cooks like 

how mama cooks. I love to eat Burgers, fries, and nuggets at McDonalds. I like Thai curry, although they make me very sleepy afterwards. I like to eat chocolate cakes, puddings, brownies, cookies, doughnuts, etc. I like pickled stuff also. The pickles I would get it from Toves mart, in Merizo, I can’t remember the village. I would get the daigu from song market in Chalan Pago. 

 

Annual Report #16 A few years ago I was labeled as a typical kind of teenager. I was disrespectful towards other people. I disrespected myself and my body by constantly cutting my arms with anything that is sharp. Believe me, I even use a sharp pencil to cut my arm and it is possible. I used to cut myself with knives, blades, razors, scissors, and pencils. I was going through a lot when I was young. So I turned to pain to release all the stress that I was dealing with. I was so mean towards anyone just for no apparent reason. I would 

fight back with my dad. I would get suspended for fighting just because a girl gave me bad looks and I approached her. I thought that I could do whatever it is that I want without my parents knowing. I went to school just too see my friends. I didn’t care if I was failing classes. I disrespected my teachers. I was a bad young girl. I smoked, I drank, and I hung out with the wrong people. I thought I was brought into the wrong world. But today, I will not be the same person as I was years ago. I am kind, loving, caring and the most compassionate person. I love to help others when they are facing a difficult time in their life. I cheer up those who aren’t having a great day. I am scared to have a bad grade because I promised my daughter that I will graduate and make her proud as she is watching over me. I am interested in graduating high school. I am overwhelmed to trying to get into the nursing program in Gcc. 

Who am I? #17 I am a mother. A mother to two angel babies whom I miss so much. As the days go by, I never seem to stop thinking about them. I wonder how they will be doing. What will they be doing? Are they watching me right now? Will I ever see them again? When will they give me a chance to see them and spend even a minute with them? So many questions run through my mind, but the lord has it all under control. My love will always be unconditional no matter how old I get, or how many times the 

world changes. There is nothing in this world that could take the love that I have for them, away from me. I am the second oldest child in my family. The oldest daughter actually. My role is to set a good educational example to my younger siblings. I am here to support them when they need me. I am here to help mama with the chores around the house. I am here to help my siblings with their projects or homework. I am a student attending George Washington High School Guam. I am currently a senior. I am currently taking English 10 and 12, chemistry, ceramics, gym, and health. I have been attending this school for 5 years. Yes, I did say 5 years, which makes me a super senior. I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON MY EDUCATION! I am Hopeful. I live every day of my life with hope. I have hope in many things. I have hope in making things right. I have hope in finishing school. I have hope in attending college. I have hope in teaching my younger siblings how to stay positive. I have hope, that one day I will be able to see my children again. I am Loving. I give love to those who appreciates everything that I do, by helping them out. Giving love isn’t the same as “making love”. You see, making love is a desire of sexual pleasure. But giving love? Oh, many would want that. Giving love is an emotional desire towards close friends and families. It is an emotional state of them caring about you and showing you how much they really do love you.

A day in the life #18One day on a fine afternoon, Mia decided to write her poetry in Peace. She decided to go to the park. She sat at the bench nearest to the trees. As she was writing she saw a boy, about the same age as her, sit at the other end of the bench. They glanced at each other, and greeted each other with a Hi & Bye! The second time they saw each other, the boy suddenly sat closer to her. She didn’t mind, she thought that maybe he needed more room.

The third time, she was listening to music with her earphones on. He wanted to talk to her, but as he is asking her questions, he realizes that she can’t hear him. He took s piece of his post it’s and wrote,” Hi" and placed it on her binder. She smiled and wrote back,” Hi" they suddenly glued their eyes against each other’s. They continued to write on the post it’s passing it back and forth to each other. Jacob finally said,” what are you listening to?” she smiled at him and gave him her earphones. He put them on and told her,” I can’t hear anything.” She laughed and wrote,” Exactly! I can’t hear, so I just listen to the pulse of my heartbeat. Actually I can’t hear it but I feel it! I may be deaf, but I can still manage to do many things on my own. Jacob was shocked. He was shocked that Mia, whom he thought was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen, is deaf. But he did not change the feelings he had for her. So he decided to take things slow. He asked her if they could become friends and move on from that. Mia was happy to hear that, so she agreed to staying friends and seeing them grow from there on out.

Flashback # 19The day I would want to re-live would be the day of my daughter’s burial. The priest has given me a longer duration of time to spend with her, due to how I was taking it in. Knowing the fact that I have lost my daughter breaks my heart into millions of pieces. I still can’t believe she is gone. Not only have I lost a daughter, but also my first baby, my son. I was told that Mothers raise their children for them to see her leave. But did I have that experience? No! instead I had to see my daughter leave my sight, and until it is my turn to leave this world behind, we will be together again. I would never forget those who have helped me with everything for my girl’s burial. I will always remember the

love I have felt coming from them. I will always remember hoe my BROKEN family came together as ONE, just for the sake of my little family. I know that thank you isn’t enough and I wish I could say more! Thank You!

Remembrance of things present #20Twenty years from now I would want to remember the life I have as of right now. I would want to remember my friends: Brenda Quidachay, Larisa Ayuyu, Laneisha Ayuyu, Patrick a.k.a PATTY, and Tanya Duenas. Brenda is a short, Beautiful, crazy, outgoing kind of person. She clearly speaks her mind and knows her limits. Larisa a.k.a Risa is a Bi-sexual, talented, beautiful, crazy, and all around funny type of girl. She’s pretty chill! Laneisha is quiet when she is either mad, sad, or tired. She is skinny, beautiful and eats a lot. Patrick is someone I just met through my cousin Franice Muna, they are the best of friends really. He is chill, funny, and great person to be around. Tanya? Oh, she is a handful. She is irritating, acts like a blonde, crazy, loud, funny, loud, irritating, loud, lol. Yes 

she is not the type I would want to hang out with, but surprisingly, I do hang out with her. She is our reporter to things that happen all around school. Yes, she is nosy, but that’s just Tanya! I would want to remember the teachers who have seen the best of me, who told me that I am will never give up, and they believe in me! Thank You all for everything!!

Remembering the child #21In my mom’s eyes, I was small yet very fat little girl. I always had to have food with me or walking around with it in my hands. She said I was really white and many people thought I was an American baby. But momma would tell them that i am Chamorro Carolinian and they would freak out. Why? Because most Chamorros are brown, and most Carolinians are dark-skinned. Haha. She told me that I always liked to suck on my thumb, and when she would cut my nails, my left thumb would be shorter than my right. She told me that I started biting my nails at 2 and ended at the age of 13. Before I go to sleep, momma has to have a soft pillow and a full bottle of milk ready. I would flip my eye lash 

out, take the corner of the pillow and rub it on the lash. Then I would pick up my bottle and fall asleep. She also remembered the time when I said my first two words, which were Takung- Kaka (Tah-koong/ Kah-Kah). Takung stands for Mommy, and Kaka stands for Dada or daddy. 

Memorable event #22The most memorable event that I have would be my auntie Margarita’s fundraiser. It was located in Agana Heights at the bar Sam’s Lounge. It has been a while since I have been with my whole family. It was amazing. All my cousins, and Aunts were there. We had fun. We danced, and sang to our favorite tunes. They had raffle drawings too with many great and awesome prices. My auntie, who has cancer, was the one who helped me with my daughter’s casket. She was always there for me when I needed her, and now it is my turn to return the favor. I may not have the money to support her, but I will fight this battle with her. I still have the raffle tickets that did not win on my dresser. I would always keep that as my treasures. And on her fundraiser 

ticket that she was selling, it has her picture on it. So I have that picture of her. I love her so much and I appreciate all that she has done for my little family. And saying,” THANK YOU!” will never be enough :’)

Where I'm from #24I am half Chamorro and half Carolinian. In my Chamorro culture, spreading your legs in public or even around friends and family is disrespectful. They say it’s like saying your “Easy” to please. Disrespecting your elders is very disrespectful. Even if they disrespect you, you must respect them.  Why? Because if they ever pass away someday, they will scare you when you aren’t expecting it. You must not smoke, drink beer infront of the elders. And when you’re pregnant you have many limits. Like you can’t: tie your hair in a bun, stand at the door, use necklace and jewelry, stress yourself because your also stressing your baby, eat a lot of hot. That’s all the things or most of the things that you can’t do. In the Carolinian side, you can’t go fishing, you can’t eat any salt and pepper, you can’t eat pickled stuffs there’s a lot. Most especially, 

you must always listen to your elders because they know best. I learned that the hard way. 

 

Telling Tales #25When my dad was younger, he lived in a ranch area in Garapan, Saipan. Their daily routine would be to go hunting for crab and fishing for fishes. One day he was playing hide and seek with my uncles and he decided to run past my grandpa's "The crabs nest". ( My grandpa had all the coconut crabs hanging with ropes on the branches of the trees at the back of their house) He thought he was short enough to make it through, but when all was going great, a crab snapped his pinchers on the top of my dad's head. 

 

Cheer yourself up #26When I am sad, I would eat junk food. Chocolate would be the main sweets I would be snacking on at this time. I would also write in my journal, or make poems about how I am currently feeling. I would listen to music that I enjoy listening to. I would turn on the karaoke system and sing the pain away. I would go running to get my mind off of all that's going on. I would clean the house. I would clean my room. I would exercise in the living room to sweat all the stress away. I would pick on my sister out of the blue, just because I am bored. I like to pick on her because she gets mad fast. I would irritate my brother by poking his sides. I would read the bible when I feel a certain way just to reach out to god. When I need Jesus, I pray. 

 

Metamorphosis #27 I used to be mean but now I'm nice. I used to be bad, but no I'm good I used to swear a lot, but not that much so far I used to hang out with the wrong group of people, but now I'm in a good circle

One medium suitcase #28If I was to be leaving my home for good, what would I bring? I would pack all my personal stuffs. I would pack my panties, bra's, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, tooth paste, shaver, my daughter's pictures & Rosary bead, my cellphone, my clothes, and my shoes. I would bring my bra and panties because I don't want to use clothes with nothing under, that's just insane. I would pack my personal hygiene things because it is always good to be prepared for anything and practice good hygiene. I would also 

pack my daughter's pictures and her rosary bead because I can't leave it behind. I cannot go one day without looking at both things. 

 

Lessons I learned after it was too late #29

The lessons I’ve learned was that life is full of surprises. You may think that life will always be the same. You see life, has its own way of creating our future. I mean look at it carefully, we may be talking to a loved one today and lose them tomorrow. Living life to its fullest , is what we should be doing today. Fighting would also be another thing I learned from. When you’re mad, the first thing your body says, “ hit them” but, your brain is slowly is

trying to think. When you’re done fighting and you beat the crap out of the other person, what will you get out of it? money? no?

6. Which has less charm, a signature or an autograph? I would say an autograph because autographs are signatures that are from famous people, but signatures from ordinary people could be from those we love and care deeply about.

7. Which is more useful, a friend or an enemy? I would say an enemy because those who you have beef with will eventually become your friends in the future. Unlike your friends, who will eventually back stab you.

8. Which costs more, a home or a house? I would say a house because having your house means you have no one else to help you with your bills, but yourself. That means you can’t have the money to spend, but only to pay bills.

9. Which is happier, music or art? I would say music because when you feel a certain way, music will be the best medicine to express your feelings.

10. Which is like a valentine, a truth or a lie? I would say a lie because once when you admit to the person who your lied to, that would make things a lot easier than lying to them and they find out the truth later.

The perfect present #34 The ideal of a perfect present you can ever give is respect. My mom told me many times before that in order to get to respect, you must give respect. I would use that phrase throughout the day. I just want others to respect those who are different in essence. This is because when people disrespect it is because they judge a book by its cover, like the old saying, “there is always a story behind it”. I want people to respect me for being a super senior and still in high school trying to graduate. I want them to respect me the way I respect them.

beautiful and friendly. It is harmful and very pleasing to the eye. I see that there are people who are afraid of it. I would see them run like crazy and I'll start too laugh at them. If I were that butterfly, I would chase those who are scared of me just so I can see their faces.

2. If I were a clothing, I would be a material made with silk. It's characteristics is a soft, and shiny material. It is useful when you want to be comfortable while you sleep. The main thing is that you shouldn't use it on a hot day. You will eventually start to feel hot and sweat like crazy.

3. If I were a color, I would be pink. It is a beautiful color. It is girly and pretty. That is why many girls have pink as their favorite color. Pink signifies a woman's feminine side.

4. If I were a movie, I would be a romantic movie. I love romantic movies, it fills you with love and loyalty. It reminds me of myself. I show a lot of love to those I love and care about.

I never want to go to the beach without sunblock because my skin is very sensitive. Everytime I stay in the sun for about 5 minutes, my skin would start to tan. I never want to carry a newborn baby, because I am scared that they might blame myself for if something was wrong with them. But if they’re mine, I would be very stingy with my child. I never want to pretend to be someone im not because that just means I would be a fake. I will show everyone who I am and it’s their choice to love me for who I am and not what they want me to be. I never want to jump off a cliff because I am not stupid enough to do that. Plus, I am really scared of heights. I never want to be left walking on the side of the road because that is just crazy and scary. Do you see how crazy people can be now a days? I don’t want to get raped, or jumped, or worse be found dead. I need someone with me all the time. I never want to divorce my husband because we made it this far and I don’t want to turn back on anything. We made a commitment to god in his house that we would take care of eachother in sickness, or in health, for better or worse we will make it through anything.

A mysterious place #41I happened to be dragged going intoa place I never gone to. As I walk through the dounle doors, all I can see was a narrow hallway with many cells. I can see beds that looked very uncomfortable, a toilet with no privacy around it. I was brought into the shower room, thinking it was big, but no… it was really small. I can hear a lot of different noises from kids yelling and disrespecting others. I smelt pee

since I walked throught the doors, and I can still smell it as I walked through the buildings. I was brought into a classroom which was so small and cramoed together. There wasn’t any space to walk through. All of a sudden I see other people, with hands behind their back and ashamed. I was so ashamed of myself for putting my parents through my stupidity and to see where I might end up if I don’t change my actions. DYA is where I never want to go ever again.

 

 

The door #42When I walk out the door I want to know that I have done a successful job on my work. I want to be able to capture the moments I will have while I’m still here. I want to remember why I thought of coming back to school and accomplishing my goals. I want to make my parents happy. I want to show them that even though I will be graduating at 19 years old, I am not giving up on myself.

When I walk out that door I don’t want to skip class all over again. I want to change by ways and be a good girl who passes all my classes. I don’t want to fight with another student. I don’t want to be told that I am failing my classes because I failed my finals. I don’t want to be called into the office because a family member of mine passed away.

Quality personality (cellphone) #44I am one useful tool. My boss finds me very handy. When he needs information, I can help him. I have a daily calendar so when my boss has an important event, I am the one he relies on to remind him. I contain many files and I can view different things depending on where he faces me. When my boss talks to me I can respond. When I am placed in their palm I feel their soft skin. After my owner eats, I can smell the grease from his hand after eating his

favorite hamburger, and it tastes so good, I am a cell phone.

 Look who I look up too # 49

Anne Frank would be one person I would look up too.  She went through a lot while living. At the time she was writing her diary, she was very young. She and 7 other people decided to hide in the secret Annex on the Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. For two years, they’ve been hiding from the Nazi’s. At that time, the Nazi’s made it a mission to Kill all people who looked like Jewish, or is 

Jewish.  Because of her Diary, she became famous around the world. Her bravery was quite an experience to read about. 

    Martin Luther King Jr. would be another person I would look up to. He basically had speeches that were strong and very patriotic. He never gave up in fighting against the segregation laws, which were laws that were made to prevent the blacks from entering certain places. And since he never gave up, we pronounce that “ all men were created equal” His living years ended when he was murdered in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 39.

    Rosa Park would also be another person that I look up to. One day, she decided to sit at the middle of the bus. Usually every bus had its own seating arrangement for the blacks and the whites. The Whites would be seated in the front of the bus and the Blacks were seated in the back. Since there was a law that Bus Drivers have their rights, the bus driver told her to sit in the back because one white person didn’t have a seat to sit in. She didn’t care, she stood up for herself. She hated Racism and didn’t understand why blacks were treated like animals. She got arrested for fighting the bus driver. Later Martin Luther King Jr. created men equally and started Racism.

Sundays with the " Bestiies" are filled with nothing but love and laughter. They are always there for me through all the struggles in life. I just love spending time with them. In this picture there are captured moments we've spent together on Sundays. As you can see, they have many crazy moments when they get really bored. If you were to hang out with us, there will be non-stop laughter!
