A Moment of InspirationLast month I met a young man who completely touched my life with his

story and his ideas. His knowledge and his awareness was truly

captivating, and I will forever be grateful for the short amount of time

that we shared. I pray that this letter inspires him just as much as he has

inspired me!

Dear Michael,

Not many people are able to meet people someone who can

instantly influence them and provide a different outlook just based on

one encounter. Especially someone who didnt talk much! You have a

light in your eyes and a personality that is eager to get out into the world

and inspire change. I am blessed beyond measure that you are now apart

of this organization and that the ideas and thoughts that you have lent

me will have the power to change our subscribers forever. You were

created to impact others and your story is waiting to burst at the seams

and be told. Continue to journey, continue to press your way, and

continue to prove everyone wrong. Remember you are NORMAL

conquering abnormal situations, and there is nothing that can stop you if

you put one foot in front of the other and keep running. Full steam

ahead Michael, this is your time, your season, and your opportunity. It is

believe it? Seven months ago we began this journey and what perfect time to end with completion the things that we want t

leave behind. Next year will mark a NEW year and OLD

things need to be left in this season. Begin to gather all of you

lightly packed luggage and lets get ready for take-off. You hav

arrived at the gate and there are monitors everywhere full o

Alive On Purpose PackagesThe mission to spread a bit of inspiration to those in need!

On November 15th Nov 30

thpackages were placed in the mail to varying

colleges across the US. Names came in from friends and family, mentors and

even those who were brave enough to submit themselves. Boxes were wrapped

and journals were packed in effort to give someone else a word of

encouragement. We have found that school can be one of the most difficult

places to journey alone and with support it makes the endeavor that much

easier.

Please partner with Alive on Purpose as we send packages to young adults in

need. This is only the beginning of what we hope will be a system of ongoing

P is for PURPOSEDont Settle ForLess: Continue to Believe God

What do when you make bad decisions that make you feel like you cant achieve the goals that you have set outto achieve? Do you give up or do you look at your situation as a learning experience that will take you to your destiny?

I have been in several situations that have made me feel like I would never fulfill my dreams and goals. During your

journey here on earth, numerous experiences will occur; that will give you the opportunity to learn different lessons

that will assist you later on in life. God orchestrates everything that occurs in your life. It was not a surprise to God

when you became pregnant before marriage, nor was it a surprise to God when your closest friend betrayed you. You

cannot look at obstacles in life as setbacks. Problems in life are used as a set up for your moment of victory. As long as

you do not settle for less and continue to believe God during the difficult moments in your life, you can become

victorious over every situation. Your victory may not occur exactly when you want it to, but it will definitely happen

when God wants it to happen.I had my first son before I was married and I thought my dream and goal of becoming a nurse was over. I had

to quickly think of how I was going to accomplish learning how to be a mother and a nurse at the same time. This is

when I began to pray and ask God to help me. The more I prayed, the greater my ability became to be successful as a

mom and a nurse. I was able to attend nursing school when my son was a few weeks old. I had a co-worker that I trusted

to watch him during the day until I was able to enroll him into a day care at six weeks of age. This was a challenging

time in my life. I would study for tests with a book on the couch, while holding my son in my arms. I was determined to

be a successful in both of my new roles. People made me feel like I would never become a nurse, I will have to live off of

food stamps the rest of my life and I would never accomplish anything. Despite what people said to be, I continued to

believe God. Im now a registered nurse, with a Bachelor degree in Business Management and a Masters degree inBusiness Administration. I refused to settle for less!

When you make mistakes, you may have people say: you will neverachieve your dreams, you will never beanything, who wants to be bothered with you now, etc. Im here to tell you that you can achieve the dreams andaccomplish the goals that you have set for yourself. The sky is the limit! Pray and ask God what does he want you to

accomplish in your life. The Bible states, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood (I Peter 2:9). Therefore,you have to remember that God chose you to be a part of this generation and you have to think of yourself as a queen

and nothing less than that. You are someone special. You are worth more than millions of dollars in Gods eyes. Dontlet people around you cause you to settle for less. Trust and believe what God says about you in the Bible.

We like to shop for sales because we are able to save money. In life you want to shop for the best opportunities

that will give you the most effective outcomes. Dont settle for less! If God tells you he wants you to become a lawyer, dowhat you have to do to become a lawyer. If God tells you to become a counselor, do what you have to do to become a

counselor. Whatever God tells you to become, trust him and do what you need to do to accomplish what he said for you

to do. God wants to maximize your gifts to become someone great. Dont allow people to minimize your gifts; doing thatwill cause you not to become someone great. Dont settle for less; continue to believe God!

Beauty and Destiny perfectly define the life of Min. Katie McGhee, who is a

woman of class, grace, and is anointed to do the work of the Lord. She is a

wonderful wife and mother who has knocked down and is constantly knocking

down doors that have stood in her way in effort to follow her dreams. She will not

allow her past to hinder any portion of her future and is on a mission to help
