The panther is Florida’s state animal. It is one of the most endangered mammals on earth. It is tan and brown on the back and pale gray underneath.

A panther’s height is about 23-27 inches at the shoulder for males. Females are smaller.

Panther Males are about 7 feet from nose to tip of tail for males. They are about 6 feet long for females.

Males have an average weight of 130 lbs. Females weigh about 70-75 lbs.They live about 10-15 years.
