� Exploration: � Exploration is

all that you do when you look for information or something. It is when you listen, touch, see.

� Discovery: � Discovery is to

find something that you don’t know, but exists.

They help us to learn new things because if we don’t explore we can’t discover and if

we don’t discover we don’t have more knowledge about the world.

FIRE:

� The fire has three elements that are oxygen, heat and fuel.

� Function: the fire is used for many things like cooking, doing handcrafts, and many more things.

� The people that discovered the fire were the Homo-Erectus.

Anesthesia

� The anesthesia is made with chlorophorm. We use the anesthesia to make the people sleep.

� The person that discovered the anesthesia was Horace wells.

� Anesthesia was discovered on December 11th, 1.448.

The Big Bang Theory

� The big bang theory is about an explosion that separated the planets.

� The person that discovered the big bang theory was Albert Einstein.

The Discoveryof America

� Once upon a time there was a boy named Christopher Columbus. He wanted to prove that the world was round.

� First, he went to de king of Portugal to ask for money, but he said no.

� Then he went to the king of Spain and the king said no.

� Few years later he tried again and the queen of Spain said: “yes, you go to Japan even if I have to sell my jewels but with one condition. You have to take all the treasures.

� Columbus bought 3 ships that were La Pinta, La Niña y La Santa Maria. The sailors of Columbus were so angry because they were much time in the ship and they didn’t find and island.

� On Friday, October 12th, 1492 they saw land. They captured a lot of Indians and took all the treasures of America. Then they went to Spain again. When they arrived Columbus gave the treasures to the king and the king sent him to jail few years later. And the letters that Columbus wrote to the king were never read .

Perspectives Towards the Discovery of

America

� The perspective of the queen wasgood because she became morefamous and rich.

� To Columbus was bad because hediscovered America but theydidn’t put the name of Columbusto that land and he went to jail.

� For the crew members it was badbecause they came with diseasesand they did not receive so muchfor the Discovery of America.

� For the American Indians was badbecause the Spanish peoplebrought diseases to America .

Navigation

� Navigation is to go from a place to another one.

� Some navigation tools you can use are:

� GPS

� The GPS is used to guide the people to go to a place.

� MAPS

� The Maps are used to know where you are or to know where the continents are.

� COMPASS

� The Compass is used to guide ourselves. It works with metal and magnetism.
