ACHS SPORTS ADVENTURE CAMPS in Amherstburg

Campers will have the opportunity to let loose at this exciting and fun filled Camp. Our campers will have little chance to rest while at this camp. This well rounded camp program has its base camp situated on 6.75 acres at St. Peter's A.C.H.S. College School in Amherstburg and provides many dynamic and exciting activities throughout each week. Some of the possible activities during the the week include: Swimming and limited boating Mega Mini Stick Tournaments Bike Trips Use of school Obstacle Course Earth Ball Wide and Ultimate Games Mini Olympic Challenge Archery Nerf gun battles (NEW) Water Trampoline FREE before/after care available.

Camp #1 Amherstburg Tuesday July 2-5th, 2019 (Boys 7-13 years old)

ACHS Team and or Group HOCKEY CAMPS in Amherstburg These exciting and dynamic camp programs are set for teams Atom-M. Bantam as well as individual players in small groups. All "TEAM TRAINING CAMP PROGRAMS" are customized and work on team bonding and conditioning. They typically run between three to five day periods either week days and or weekends towards the middle/end of August. Costs vary according to ice, staff and programming requirements. Typically they run between $375.00 and $575.00 per player based on a min. team of 16 players. Our small "MINI CAMPS" are run for individuals in small groups and with a min. 4-6 hours of ice. The next Mini Camp is Thursday night June 6th-Sunday afternoon June 9th, 2019. Residency cost $225.00. Day time only camp cost $125.00. Train Station pickup and delivery is available from Windsor at NO charge.

Transportation is provided from Sports Village in Vaughan to Amherstburg and back for an additional $60.00.

While at camp players will reside at St. Peter's ACHS College School located on 6.5 acres near the town of Amherstburg. The 27,000 square foot building can house up to a min. of 18 players plus 3 team or ACHS staff at any given time. Along with the dining room, a fully functional kitchen, showers, library, mini stick room, outdoor obstacle course, shooting platforms, soccer field, training hill and the lake/pool close by for swimming, ACHS has much to offer. Ice facilities are close by depending on availability. They include both the Libro Centre in Amherstburg and or the Vollmer Sports Complex in LaSalle. Over the years we are proud to have hosted such hockey clubs as the Vaughan Panthers, the Vaughan Rangers, the Toronto Royals, the Humberview Huskies, the Avalanche, and the Mississauga Reps.

ACHS ALGONQUIN WILDERNESS AND ADVENTURE CAMP

This camp is for kids who like adventure and don't mind roughing it a bit. This spectacular camp program is set up for boys seven to fourteen years old. Unlike any other program offered at ACHS, this rugged program has been designed to help campers develop independence and a deep appreciation for the outdoor wilderness. Sold out most years, this camp program remains one of our most popular camp programs to date. Activities will include: Kayaking and Canoeing Swimming Exploring, Hiking and Trail Blazing Ax and knife safety Sleeping in tents Fire building Swiss Navy and other Water Games. All equipment is supplied. Campers must wear a life jacket at all times while in the Kayaks/Canoes. There will be no exception to this policy. Camp #5R ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK (Boys 7-14 years old.) Sunday July 28th-August 2nd, 2019 Cost $495.00 Covers residency, limited snacks, and all meals every day use of ALL required equipment. (Free Sunday pick up from Amherstburg and Vaughan/King with return Friday night.)
