Q4 Solve any two of the sub-question (8 marks)

(1)Deepak save Rs.36000 in ten years. In each year after the first, he saves R.s 600 more than the preceding year. How much did he save in the first year?

(2)A rectangle whose length is 4m more than its breadth has an area 45m2. Find the breadth and length of the rectangle.

(3)Rohit purchased a pair of shoes and slippers. Price of shoes is 5times the price of slippers. Total cost of a pair of shoes and slippers is Rs.600. Find the individual price of shoes and slippers.

Q5 Solve any two sub-question (10 marks)

(1)In a two-digit number, the digit at ten’s place is greater than the digital at unit’s place by 3. The sum of the original number and the number obtained by interchanging the digits in 143. Find the original number.

(2)Split 12 into two parts such that the sum of the square is 80.

(3)A man repays a loan of Rs.6500 by paying Rs.610 in the first month and decreases the payment by Rs.30 every month. How long will it take to clear his loan?
