The Alexandria has been a historic staple in the heart of downtown Los Angeles since 1906. The ballrooms hosted a myriad of luxury events for Hollywood stars, presidents, and

other social royalties. These spaces became an elegant gathering place for lively elite crowds for the most prestigious events, including Charlie Chaplain’s wedding.

Today, these grand ballrooms carry the same celebratory spirit, holding numerous events and films. Hollywood stars such as Natalie Portman, Nick Jonas,

Pharrell, and Beyonce have done film and photography productions at The Alexandria.

Stepping out of the Hollywood limelight The Alexandria played hostto notable figures such as Winston Churchill, King Edward VIII

and American presidents such as William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt. Accordingly, Ronald Reagan hosted a fundraiser for his

campaign for governor in the early 1970s.

DURATION Reception: 6 hour event/12 hour block period.

Ceremony & Reception: 8 hour event/14 hour block period. Room Flip: Ceremony & Reception in the same ballroom is an

additional fee of $650.

Additional hours are available at $250 per hour. Event curfew - 1:00 am on weekends.

DETAILS

- Combining more than one ballroom is available at a discounted rate.

- Full Buyouts of the venue start at $21,000 & is based on guest count & date. Full Buyouts can accommodate up to

1,500 guest.

- Venue Exclusivity is available at an additional rate.

- Holiday rates increase, starting at $500 per room.

PARKING

Garaged parking is located inside the building. Parking options are available at an additional rate. Valet may be set up directly outside the grand entrance on Spring St. Plenty of meters &

additional parking lots nearby.

The Mezz 500 reception style/800 cocktail style

The Mezz is surrounded with windows and skylights, offering charming views of the city and nearby historical buildings. The industrial style setting features exposed brick walls, candle-light iron beams, and a luxurious marble staircase upon entrance. The Mezz is the largest venue, measuring over 14,000 sqft.

Pricing Based on guest count & areas of use, The Mezz ranges from $7,000 to $14,500.

The venue can accommodate larger and smaller events. Smaller events may divide the venue for separate use of Conferences, Cocktail Hour, Ceremony & Reception. Ask about our different options and pricing.
