Student Achievement Goals: What Are Our Targets for This Year?
By June 2016, Jefferson-Houston will have an increase in the pass rate of at least 10% on the Math
SOL to 74% or more students scoring proficient on the SOL.
By June 2016, Jefferson-Houston will have an increase in the pass rate of at least 9% on the English
SOL to 70% or more students scoring proficient on the SOL.
By June 2016, Jefferson-Houston will have an increase in the pass rate of at least 5% on the Science
SOL to 65% or more students scoring proficient on the SOL.
By June 2016, Jefferson-Houston will have an increase in the pass rate of at least 6% on the History
SOL to 61% or more students scoring proficient on the SOL.

Jefferson-Houston STAT Process • On-going training and data review meetings with administration, school staff, central
office staff, and UPD staff
• Review key levers and progress towards achieving goals
• Goal: Increase Proficiency Rates on Grade K-2 PALS and Grade 3-8 reading SOL • Focus on 3-8 grade math - Goal: Increase Proficiency Rates for Grades 3-8 on Math SOL • Review the metrics by which we are measuring growth

IB Primary Years/Middle Years IB Progress
PYP International Baccalaureate program:
• Teachers attended training for IB
• Teachers will implement turnaround IB training to staff
• Teachers will revise and create additional IB planners
MYP International Baccalaureate program:
• 6th-8th grade students are working on an IB project
• 5th-8th grade and encore teachers are receiving IB training with the Jefferson-Houston IB Coordinator
• Middle school teachers have been selected for IB training for the summer of 2016
