Architecture 2B Work Experience, Leeds 2011 I worked on a number of local projects, including converting a factory and its clock tower into a boutique hotel and media centre; two Grade 2 listed residential renovations and a contemporary residential extension. All projects included CAD work, Sketchup and D & A Statements. Volunteer Construction Work The Gambia, 2010 I worked within a team of University students constructing wind turbines to provide a free, clean energy source for the residents of Kartong. The success of this project required creativity and improvisation to construct turbines under the pressures of climate, limited resources and a short time scale. Communicating ideas and teaching were also part of the programme. Lifeguard Church Stretton Pool, 2006 - 2009 My job was to open and prepare the community swimming pool and to supervise swimmers and new lifeguards. Activities and Interests Outside architecture, my other great interest is music.
