Are you some kind of nut, we are talking World Series champs last year with 110 wins, MVP Mookie Betts, highest ticket prices in ma- jors, obstructed view seats, crum- my seats in bleachers that haven’t been replaced, parking only $80 on game days,. How can you not root for a team with that kind of street cred? Really time for you to switch to the hub of the universe. – Mike on McKay Street Dear Mike, Eat Paste. Go Yankees. – Matt Keep it Classy Much like San Diego, Matt Blanchard kept it classy last week with a classifi- cation that was forcing the members to shout out appeals for a lobster/ Clambake that Matts forefathers(3) used to have back in the day at the lake. No better way to win over the crowd than with a promise of, or offer of seafood treats. Only thing that trumps that is wine/beer. We know Matt is a Mortgage guy but also newly crowned buns of steel in club with not 1, not 2 but 4 char- ity bike rides this year including the Pan Mass Challenge. Maybe he and Connor can ride a tandom bike? At left is Matt,newly minted mem- ber Connor and proud padre Rick who may take even more time off to travel since Connor will cover. No softball talk Ah, back to the comforts of black and white, where I can be myself without all the stress of looking good in color. Right now I have to go churn butter and make candles for heating. I love the simples ways of Rotary when it only had a 2 way test. Gee Courageous I was hoping to be in color this week since so few of these readers know who we are and if we were in color?... it could have been great! I agree Minute Mouse, we should go b!$#h slap the editor. Now fellas you can’t say that in politically correct 2019. This isn’t the 50- 60’s when you could say whatever you wanted. Plus the cost of color is too much for the club to pay everyweek. We’ll stay black and white and like it. We’re fine in black and white
