Every candidate who sat for the Palestine Law Examination, 1946, which was held in Jerusalem during April-May, 1946, is therefore requested to communicate, as soon as possible, with the Secretary, Law Council, Attorney General's Office, Jerusalem, giving the follow­ing particulars: —

mination, (iii) the subject or subjects in which he was

Tenders in sealed envelopes marked "Tender for Second Hand and Scrap Material" accom­panied by a guarantee deposit of 10% of the total value of the tender should be addressed to : —

The deposit will be refunded to unsuccessful tenderers.

Tenders from licenced dealers only will be considered for lot 3.

Successful tenderers will be required to pay the balance of the amount for the articles pur­chased and remove them from Railway premises within 7 days from the elate of the letter ad­vising them of acceptance of their tenders.

The Acting General Manager does not bind himself to accept the highest or any tender.

NOTICE. DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS.

REVISED CHARGES FOR TRUNK CALLS FROM PALESTINE TO TRANS-JORDAN AND IRAQ.

Commencing on the 1st August, 1946, the' charge for a call from any exchange in Pal­estine to any exchange in Trans-Jordan, or vice versa, will be 200 mils per call of three minutes' duration, or part thereof, between 07.00 hours and 20.00 hours.

2. The charge for a call of six minutes' du­ration, or part thereof, made between 20.00 hours and 07.00 hours will also be 200 mils.

3. In the case of Iraq the charge for a call of three minutes' duration, or part thereof, between 07.00 hours and 20.00 hours or of six minutes' duration^ or part thereof, made be­tween 20.00 hours and 07.00 hours will be as follows: —
