How are we getting there? If you get travel sick your child gets travel sick they may want to take some anti-sickness tablets with them.
Accommodation Hotel Ibis Budget - Marne La Vallee.
9, rue de Derrière la Montagne, 77500
Chelles
France
Breakfast is provided each morning.
All lunches are provided for.
The only meal students will need to need
money for is an evening meal on the final
day of the trip.
Coronavirus The government and World Health Organisation have advised that there is no reason not to travel to
Paris.
The Louvre has reduced the numbers that are being allowed in and our group is too large.
Unless the governments of France or the UK declare a situation similar to Italy, we are still going.
If that happens, WST have advised that pandemics are not insured so they will not issue refunds.
Instead, they will aim to rearrange the trip for an alternative date.
We will keep you up to date.
Please look at the itinerary of day 3 to see what the alternative to the Louvre is.
Itinerary
Day 1 The majority of Day 1 is spent
travelling to Paris.
We will meet at school at 12am on
Monday 30th March and travel
overnight.
When we arrive in Paris we will have
an evening meal at Planet
Hollywood in the Disney Village.
Students are then free to explore
once we have had our evening meal.
It is probably a good idea NOT to
buy anything from there and save it
until Thursday when we are at
Disney all day.
Day 2 - we are split in two Coach 1
In the morning we will
visit the Eiffel tower
and the surrounding
area.
Lunch is provided.
In the afternoon we will
then visit Sacre Coeur
and the area of
Montmartre.
Students may want to
bring money with them
to buy things from the
shops.
Coach 2
In the morning coach 2
will be visiting Sacre
Coeur and Montmartre
with an opportunity for
shopping.
Lunch is provided.
In the afternoon they
will then visit the Eiffel
tower and the
surrounding area.
Day 3 - We are all one group Coach 1&2
As an alternative to the Louvre I have arranged for
us to go to Versailles.
Lunch is provided.
Students will explore the palace and gardens in
their groups with their group leader.
The plans for the afternoon remain the same, we
will be dropped off at the Arc De Triomphe and
make our way down the Champs Elysees where
students are free to shop.
We will still walk to the Louvre but will not be able
to enter.
Day 4 - We are reunited! Coach 1 & 2
This is the final day of the trip.
We have all day at Disney Land.
Vouchers are provided for
students to get lunch.
They may want to buy an evening
meal (if they haven’t stocked up
on sweet and junk all day)
We then watch the fireworks,
board the coaches and return
home.
Returning Home Coach 1 & 2
The travel company have advised that we will return to Alder Grange at
roughly 9am on Friday 3rd April.
We will ask students to contact you throughout the journey home to
keep you updated in case we are earlier or later.
Students can then return home with you and begin their Easter holiday.

Money
I would recommend that you work off the basis of 20 euros per day.
Put each day’s money into separate envelopes.
These can then be put into a larger envelope and left with your child’s group leader.
We can then distribute it to your child each day.
Alternatively you can give it all with them but it is at their own risk if they lose
it/spend it all.
