Rihanna – Talk That Talk

O I like the fact the CD has a print of an article about Rihanna on it as it relates to her always being in the media. I think it shows that she doesn’t care about people talking about her.

O The digipak has many pictures of Rihanna, as she is sold as an artist as well as selling her personal image.

O The pictures of Rihanna are provocative, which attracts more people to buy her music. She doesn’t look very feminine in these pictures, which portrays her rebellious ways

Lily Allen – Alright, StillO I like this album cover as I

think it portrays Lily Allen’s quirkiness, as there’s quite random things happening for example, the dog with a policeman hat on.

O I also like the integration of real life objects and animated drawings.

O Lily Allen has a similar style to Regina Spektor, as they’re both quite unique and edgy.

Alt J – An Awesome Wave

O This album cover fits in with Alt-J’s weird and alternative music style.

O The album cover doesn’t show anything specific, it almost looks like waves which fits in with the title ‘an awesome wave’

O The triangle on the cover is almost their symbol as it relates to their band title. If you click alt and J on a keyboard it makes a triangle ∆
