British Columbia The British Columbia Branch prepared

a brief for the Royal Commission on Health Services which was placed before the Com- mission at its hearings in Vancouver during the week of February 19.

The epidemiological study "Pedestrian Traffic Accidents Involving Children in the City of Vancouver" which was reviewed at the C.P.H.A. annual meeting in Regina, 1961, has been released by the Departments of Preventive Medicine and Paediatrics of the University of British Columbia. The report has received considerable publicity and has aroused much interest in the Greater Vancouver area.
