The existing National Geodetic Network contains 1813 Geodetic

Points (1 point per 15.6 km2 )

INIMA Field MeasurmensIt was carry out in colloboration with American Cartographic Agency(today INIMA) at october 1994.The Purpose of this activity was transformation of National Geodetic Network into the World System of WGS 84. During this Field Compaing were measured alltogether 35 points, where 24 were selected from the National Triangolation Network (10 points from First range of it; 14 from second range; and 11 points were taken from the First class of National Liveling System).

Department of Civil Engineering Faculty / Wisconsin University.

The objective of this activity was the connection of Albanian National Geodetic Network with International Reference System (ITRF).

During this measurment Process were measured: Point nr.: 8814 (Kamza), Point nr.6339 (Shkodra),and point 12602 (Korça).

The standard deviations in the coordinates of those stations were of the range by 1-2 cm.

Septembre 1998 another Measurment Campaign was realised by using GPS.

The objective: Connection of our Geodetic Network with the Europian reference System ETRS-89.

The measurments were carry out in 8 stations.

5 points (or stations) were from National Geodetic Network and3 of them from the Geodinamic

Network. Those are known now as the EUREF –Stations.

The Standart Deviations in station’s coordinates were of the range ± 2mm in plan dhe ±

6 mm in hight.
