H-3 0'-0" Anchor PointsIndustry standards recommend the use of either ASTM A-475 Extra High Strength Guy Strand Cable or ASTM A-586 Bridge Strand Cable.Although the exact type of wire rope used to guy this tower is unknown, it is estimated this tower is guyed using Aircraft Cable. Guy wire tensionswere found not to be within 7% - 15% of their rated breaking strength as required by Code TIA-222-G The replacement of all guy wires usingASTM A-475 Extra High Strength Galvanized Guy Strand Cable in compliance with current industry standards is recommended.Adjust all guy wire tensions to be within 7% - 15% of their rated breaking strength, while maintaining Code TIA-222-G compliantPlumb and Twist. Consult GPD Group Engineer to complete Structural Analysis helping to determine type and size of new guy wires.
