Thanks to the intuitive user concept and built-in web server, the Secvest device

can be configured conveniently and efficiently, and maintenance can easily be

carried out via remote access. In the event of an incident, a message is sent to

the user who can gain instant live stream access to up to three IP cameras via the

app. In addition to conventional alarm functions for protection against intrusion,

fires, flooding and emergencies, the Secvest device now has unique mechatronic

intrusion protection built in (double the protection by combining mechanical

security with electronic monitoring).

device boasts a unique combination

of mechanical parts and electronics.

The mechanical components prevent

the intruder from entering the

property by providing enormous

pressure resistance of over a tonne,

whilst the electronic system triggers

an alarm as soon as the first attempt

at entry is detected. The advantage

for inhabitants: increased protection

through a combination of active

security and early detection and

deterrence.

Installers wishing to consolidate

their mechatronics skills are given

the opportunity to do so through

the ABUS Academy's mechatronics

training course. In addition, they

The Secvest wireless alarm panel: the key component for increased security. The

Secvest wireless alarm system can be controlled, configured and serviced directly

using the panel, as well as conveniently and remotely via an integrated web server.

Network and PSTN connectivity enables alarm signals to be triggered both digitally

and in analogue. Communication can take the form of a voice message (PSTN/

VoIP), a text, an email, a push notification or forwarding to a monitoring station

via analogue and digital protocols. Up to 48 individually identifiable wireless

detectors, 8 control panels and 50 remote controls enable reliable operation by

several users.

Simple operation and flexible

application: the Secvest wireless

control panel allows you to (dis)arm

the system via PIN code or a proximity

keyfob (even without an external

power supply). As well as displaying

the status of sub-areas via LED, each

of these areas can also be internally

activated or deactivated separately.

Simple operation worldwide: with the

mobile application, the Secvest device

can be intuitively and securely operated

from any location. As well as displaying

the alarm panel status, the app can also

receive push notifications in the event of

alarms, provide live stream access to the

network cameras and enable management

of up to three alarm panels at once.

(Dis)arming of alarms plus intrusion

protection: the Secvest wireless addi-

tional door lock (dis)arms the alarm

panel as soon as the door is opened/

closed and provides information about

the status of the alarm system. This

door lock protects the door from being

forced open, and wirelessly reports the

intrusion attempt to the alarm panel as

soon as it happens.

Increased ease of use: the Secvest key

replaces the existing door cylinder,

thereby enabling (dis)arming of the

alarm panel by opening/closing the

door. An acoustic signal immediately

provides feedback on the status of the

alarm panel. The key fits all doors with

Europrofile locks, and is also compa-

tible with cylinder systems from other

manufacturers.

Conventional – the classic: the system

can be (dis)armed using the compact

Secvest wireless remote control,

whereby eight LEDs provide feedback

on the status of the system at a single

glance. The "*" key is freely program-

mable, and can be used to manually

switch outputs. The double-key

function allows a panic alarm to be

triggered.

Sturdy and reliable: (dis)arming of

the alarm system using a wireless key

switch. The alarm system can be armed

and disarmed easily at the turn of a key

without the need to enter a PIN code.

This makes it possible to manage the

alarm system (or individual sub-areas)

more quickly and more conveniently.

The two coloured LEDs indicate the

status of the system at a glance.

On the system overview page the status

of the individual sub-areas is listed, and

open zones, as well as possible faults

and alarms, are displayed. In the event

of a fault, the installer can remotely

access the web server to investigate the

cause and rectify the fault.

All alarm panel settings and detector

IDs can be stored via the backup

function. This means that if the alarm

panel is replaced, settings can simply

be reinstated at the click of a mouse, so

components do not have to be taught

in again.

All system settings – such as alarm

reactions, user management, and the con-

figuration of detectors, operating units,

sounders, and outputs – can be quickly,

easily and conveniently accessed at the

click of a mouse: users no longer need to

use the central menu for navigation.

All events and status changes can be

quickly understood in the log. For

example, should an alarm sound, the

log will provide the user with nine pre-

and post-alarm images for each indoor

camera. In total, up to three IP cameras

can be integrated indoors.
