The project focuses on the tectonic and stereometric aspects of materiality. The program involved spaces for manufactoring paper and studio spaces for local artist that use paper as an artistic medium. The top level of the structure connects to local artist on Dravus, while the lower level allows a connection to the manufacturing side of the neighborhood.

The project involved exploring ways to bring education about the site while having minimum impact of construction on the land. The design supports the observation and study of life at the water’s edge. Shore birds, marine mammals, ocean and beach flora and fauna will all be subject to investigation.

snow lake cabinThe project consisted of designing a get away cabin for a newlywed couple. The pr-gram is simple, the spaces are divided into three main areas that accomodate eating, relaxing and sleeping. The design expresses the nature through its indoor/outdoor spaces, views out, natural light and ventila-tion.

FARMER’S MARKET WALKThe cultural aspect of this event is most intriguing, during the day the streets are filled with people, food, music, pets, and shops. These drawings started with a walk to the Ballard neighborhood in Seattle.
